   Unfortunately, as much as I want to force myself to love this place but I can’t. I just got delivery, the chicken I ordered isn’t crispy at all or like the photo. Slightly pink. But that’s not where I’m most disappointed in, I got a surprise sushi box, looks delicious! But the most of the salmon I have is crunchy? It should be smooth and melt in your mouth, the scallop sushi one, is rubbery and hard and tough to chew, it’s not edible… I tried to eat it… and wasabi has been gone off and expired for more than 5months and has a sour smell and taste. :( I’m super disappointed and scared I’d get food poisoning. When biting into the salmo, or stabbing it with fork, it sounds like if you chop an apple on a cutting board. Also advice you to inspect your sushi, the salmon had small bits of black hair

   The owner is the most lovely man, so welcoming, happy and enthusiastic about his job, and he knows his stuff. He recommended what we should order after a short conversation and everything was so tasty. The chicken is so soooo tender and the rice not only perfectly cooked, but perfectly seasoned too. The fish from the fridge selection was surprisingly fresh all things considered, very flavoursome. (It’s 50% off after 8pm if you’re lucky and there’s anything left) I have to recommend the Wakame salad and vegetable dumpling, both being very moreish indeed. I could eat that salad all day every day for a week. Prices are fair and service is great, what a lovely little spot all round! Thanks so much and we will be back soon :)

   Absolutely fantastic food and a great portion, local ingredients and an atmosphere anyone would be happy in. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento and I'm only disappointed I didn't order more. Will most certainly be coming again as I want to try the rest of the menu and I'll be sure to bring more friends!

   I cant lie I was sorely disappointed first time I came. I heard the Pork cutlet bento was a popular sellout in the soft opening so tried that. Pork was decent, couldve been crispier. Rice was average. Salad was pretty basic, just some lettuce and tomatoes with a squeezed lemon. The sauce was the worst part about it however, basically ketchup with like Italian seasoning on it. For what the price is (9.50) I really couldn't justify ever having this again. The portion was decent but not amazing, the food had no value added that would make me pay that price, least they coulda done was used like a Japanese salad sauce for the veggies. I haven't had the vegetarian bento yet but I can only assume from the price and what's listed that it is once again, not worth it. Recently had their spicy fried chicken. That was their only redeeming quality. Juicy, tender, and crisp with a nice seasoning. Though in my opinion I've made friend chicken and it could've definitely been a bit crispier. I understand there is an inflation in prices but I genuinely don't agree with some of the prices/ things they are serving for said prices. Will be awaiting their sushi though.
