I love this place always well stocked with plenty of food, staff are always friendly and ready to help you. Excellent service would certainly recommend.
A visit for Xmas treats and niceties. Quite compact as a store but plenty of enticing food. M&S presentation of Xmas food shows off its quality as one would expect
The click and collect service was disappointing because a five-day collection window feels like a really tight turnaround - especially for somebody like myself who has mobility issues and difficulty travelling as a result! HOWEVER when I went to collect my order, the woman who handled it was incredibly understanding. She took the time to listen to my complaint about the collection window even though I'd seen her in the store working on a busy schedule before I submitted my collection request, so I know she must have had a lot on her plate but she still made time for me. She sympathised with me, explained the situation about seasonal volume, and was really helpful giving me information about the best way to raise my issue with M&S about the short collection window still being an accessibility issue. I *think* her name tag said Elaine, but it would be the dark-haired lady who was stacking crisps and handled a click & collect at about 6:55pm today on the 15th. All four stars are for her, the -1 star and zero others are for the fact that M&S as a company has now made managing everyday sorts of shopping more difficult for me & my disabilities.
Picked up a parcel of pyjamas for my mother in law’s birthday via the click and collect service! Nice and quick. Also got some shortbread and had a look in the bakery. Pretty plants on display upon entry which create a welcoming atmosphere. I like the fact there are self checkouts, so much faster and you don’t need to have a chat, great for the introverts among us! And so lovely that they provide trolleys and a trolley shelter. I do really enjoy a trip to M&S I can’t lie… it’s much better than the ghastly Asda!
Honestly the best m&s food I have been to, and I've been to plenty. They always seem to have everything. It's so well organised and laid out, the staff are lovely and attentive, always go out of their way to help. I love how they don't frequently move everything around, and it's the perfect size (not too big or small). Can be in and out in just over 5 minutes if you know what you're looking for. Parking is plentiful, and the opening times are great.
Evil heartless lady serving at Aisle three at 3pm On 24th January 2023 — Treated my mother who suffers from dementia with utmost disrespect. I’m going to put in a formal complaint. She looked so guilty also! This was deliberate. The way she treated the white skinned gentleman right behind was in a sugary sweet way. But to my mother who is a woman of colour (just like the cashier lady herself) it was a different attitude and demeanour. I’m not into woke culture but Can’t believe this kind of racism happens in 2023! It felt like apartheid all over again!!! This is just the beginning! Expect her photos and more of this review on social media and every platform! Next time I’ll be recording this light skin middle aged, South Asian undercover! More to come! You have been warned!
Decent sized shop that seems to sell a lot of alcohol - almost like an off-licence. Not too much available in the halal range but their snacks are quite good.
My husband and I went for coffee in the cafe only to fined our coffee had gone up to £3 .10 with out saucers half was froth not good
A clean and spacious M&S store with a lovely cafe. The store is always well stocked, lots of choices with fruits, meats, ready meals, cakes / breads, drinks, household products, plants / flowers, frozen foods, seasonal foods / products ~ M&S quality. Staff is always polite and friendly. Store is located in a shopping area, which provides free parking spaces, including disabled parking spaces, 4 hours free parking, please check with parking notice as it may change.
