   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Exceptional Thai Dining Experience at RAMA – Rugby I had an absolutely wonderful experience at RAMA, the best Thai restaurant in Rugby. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine Thai hospitality. The atmosphere is elegant, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect setting for an authentic dining experience. The food was exceptional.    Small starter portions. Also would have been nice if they’ve offered prawn crackers at the start, as food took ages. Great choice of wines and cocktails. Massaman curry was really nice - so would recommend that. Authentic design and atmosphere, although I wish they have had some sort of music on. It was quiet and you can hear every conversation around

   If i could give less than one star i would. I had the seafood oodle noodles or whatever it was and it was absaloutely disgusting! Noodles were thick and gritty and there was no seasoning on it what so ever just spice. The seafood consisted of prawns that still had the shell on them, mussels which were okay (you cant really mess up a mussle) and these rubbery plastic bits which was the ‘squid’. Absaloute rip off and nasty food will never go here again

   The restaurant is beautifully decorated, although the water feature had a slightly funny smell but we didn’t sit near it so that was fine. The food was very nice, but the portions were a bit small. I enjoyed the sweet and sour tofu with rice. People with me had Thai green curry, massaman, prawn tempura and ribs. The ribs were very little and not so great, but the rest was little but nice. The staff were rushing around, I think they need more staff. We were accidentally given alcohol instead of a Mocktail, which was remedied quickly but not good for us. Again, I think they were understaffed. I’d definitely have the sweet and sour from here again, and I’d recommend eating here. Not a wow, but a very good albeit expensive meal. The set menu looked good value though!

   A strong disappointment. I was put of with the flavoured water that I received as a soup. With only a few pieces of chicken and mushrooms, there was no taste of any broth , as if it was water with some spices. The main dish was all right in taste, but the portion In comparison to other Thai/Cantonese restaurants I dined in, was pretty humble. The good part was the presentation of the meal.

   Tried the special lunch menu. Prawn toasts and deep-fried squid are okay, a bit greasy. Pad thai is good but the noodle is supposed to be one size bigger. Service a bit slow.
