   They are not serving ask like they showed in menu if we ask they are telling careless answers We ordered tiffen combo and one ghee roast and 14 mini idly one kothu parota for one masala dosa and ghee dosa they have sent only one Chetney and if we ask them they are telling careless answers

   Exceptional—great flavors, good value, and hearty portions, especially for South Indian cuisine fans. With more consistent service and attention to detail, this place easily gone to my top favourite lists. The only negative thing I noticed was, the waiting time which is really long and annoying!

   I would put Zero stars for this restaurant if I could I ordered starters, masala chips, gobi manchurian and chicken fry leg, the veg Manchurian and chips came out within 10 minutes and after them dishes was finished I was still waiting for my chicken. I was told its going to take time and if I wanted to order our mains, I said i would wait for my starter, as there was only a family of 3 in the restaurant (before we came) after waiting for 40 minutes for a piece of chicken and other people coming in, been served and their food arriving. When it came out I was disgusted I took 2 bites, (well as much as I could) it’s was hard as a rock and the meat on the inside was very dry, I showed and told them, the waitress came back and said will be cooking another piece. I told them don’t bother as I didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes, I then walked out. Avoid this restaurant at all cost, the service was shocking and the food was even worse. See attached photos

   Update: This used to be one of our favourite spots for South Indian cuisine. Lately, the quality and taste of food had gone down drastically. It has become hard to recommend this place anymore. Instead of introducing new dishes, they should focus more on keeping the quality existing items. Amazing South Indian restaurant. Authentic taste and ambience. Dosas are just perfect. Definitely recommend if you’re Indian or like Indian cuisine.

   Nice restaurant in Coventry. Good veg options available. Dosa, idli sambhar was tasty. Service was fast. I ordered pizza Dosa, which was uttapam based and toppings of pizza. Would recommend this place. Only pan was not good.

   We went to Chennai dosa on pongal day for weekend breakfast buffet; it’s really good combo for 6.95 per person; For detailed menu check pictures Also we got complimentary sweet pongal for the special day ; we tried their filter coffee (not included in buffet) and it was good too Timings : 10 am to 11.45 am No reservations just first come first serve basis

   After visiting Chennai Dosa Restaurant in Birmingham we became favourite for their breakfast. Since I am staying in Coventry we went again to Chennai Dosa Restaurant in Foleshill road, Coventry. The same quality and and same taste, we liked it the most. This time we ordered sambar idly and some kids breakfast and filter coffee. It was delicious.

   Tried breakfast buffet. It’s worth for money due to few food items in it. The response of the staff is little delay and food serving also same. Items and taste: 1. Puri - very good 2. Idly - not good 3. Vada - very good 4. Pongal - nice 5. Upma - can be tried 6. Masala dosa - not good 7. Plain dosa - not good 8. Masala tea - can be tried 9. Filter coffee- not good 10. Mango lassi - can be tried 11. Chicken biriyani- can be tried
