   A true hidden gem! We were seated and had our food served promptly and what a delightful it was! We went for a selection of dishes, house soup which was vegetables, calamari, spaghetti Marinara and pizza! We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, food was flavoursome and delicious, service was attentive and friendly. A beautiful restaurant serving authentic food cooked with love! Thank you ❤️

   A very nice cosy Italian restaurant. Me and my friend went there for food and catch up. The ambience in there was really nice and cosy. We booked an hr to 30 mins ago table. They send you confirmation once booked. We went there on time, however the parking was very difficult as it was freshers week, but found parking in one of the side street lane. We didn't had to wait long and were sat immediately as soon as we entered. There weren't any mocktails on the menu, however the server said he would make something for me and he did indeed but forgot to take a picture. Me and my friend ordered the following: Penne Pollo Pomodori - sautéed chicken strips, red peppers, touch of sundries tomato in creamy pesto sauce. My friend ordered - Chicken and Chorizo Risotto - Arborio rice, with chicken, red pepper, peas abd chorizo. Both these dishes are amazingly delicious. Would highly recommend these two dishes. Overall a good experience and would definitely comeback.

   Beautiful venue with very friendly staff. My friend was a bit concerned about her chicken in her pasta and although the waiter assured us it was cooked was nice enough to make an entirely new one for us! I had a strawberry daiquiri which was lovely and a spaghetti carbonara. The food was delicious although I wasn't fully happy with the portions as they seemed a bit small and my dessert. Would definitely go again! But sadly not a 5 star!

   My dad is a very fussy eater, but when we went to Svago, he absolutely loved the pizza. Every time he visits me in Cardiff, we now only go to Svago. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. They have such a variety of options which are all so lovely, which makes it hard to choose what to have! Highly recommend.

   So close to a 5*. The atmosphere and acoustics of the place is amazing, you really feel comfortable. My food was very tasty, and fair value. White choc cheesecake was a highlight.

   I’ve visited this Svago Italian once and I absolutely love the food at this place. I had the pasta with shaved nuts. I wasn’t too sure about them when I ordered them, however when I tasted them they were amazing. The service is also good, and the place is nice and cosy. The prices are fairly similar to other Italian restaurants and quantity is also good. I’m looking forward to my next visit here and it is one my favorite Cardiff Restaurants.
