Seating and atmosphere is dull. Semi- pub vibe definitely not up market. The service was prompt but the staff lacked understanding of what we preferred and when. We asked on 4 separate occasions to bring out the naan whilst we ate our starters but they were confused (they only provide naan with mains!) Eventually - 20 mins later the naan had arrived followed by the mains. Garlic chicken was cold and butter chicken warmed to the correct temperature. Taste - luckily this turned things around - the sizzler, chilly chips, butter chicken were very tasty. Slightly spicy but all flavours came through delightfully. More likely to grab a take out next time as dining in was a bit of let down. Watch the billing - they charged for an extra naan! We also paid a whopping £16 for a jug of mango lassi when usually pay around £8-£10! Feel ripped off. My frustration was noticeable by the manager and he finally came over to ask what was wrong but still not resolve the lack of naan during starters!

I have been visiting Tiranga for the last 30 yrs. The quality of food has been consistently outstanding over the last 2 decades. Crispy chilli chicken is something that must be tried. The whole ambience and service is brilliant. Hasmukh bhai personally greets everyone with a warm smile. Weekends are a bit busy which is not surprising as it’s a favourite among many. Definitely a must visit place.

The food at Tiranga was really good and the portions were generous. I tried the chicken manchow soup which was nice, the chilli garlic chicken curry which was perfectly spicy, and the crispy chicken chilli which was the best part. It was crunchy, well coated with spices, and tasted just like in India. I’d definitely come back again for that.

I recently dined at Tiranga in Leicester, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The Paneer Shashlik was a standout, with perfectly grilled paneer and a tantalizing blend of spices that left us craving more. The Paneer Kadhai was rich and flavorful, with tender paneer chunks in a beautifully spiced gravy that was perfect with the naan. The Kofta was another highlight, featuring melt-in-your-mouth koftas in a creamy, aromatic sauce that was simply divine. The Chicken Kadhai was equally impressive, with succulent chicken pieces cooked to perfection in a robust, spicy sauce. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. Tiranga Leicester truly delivered a memorable dining experience, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Never seen sizzler served before soup. Never seen chicken Manchurian and salt & pepper prawns cooked in same style. Never seen all food dumped on table within 10 minutes of ordering. Never seen so much food colour on my table. Off-putting Message is to hog the food and leave. Manager - best not to be called. All he said was "I don't want to argue" I just paid and left. Regretted going there.

Both old and new tiranga is both the same, the new look was amazing showing they haven't given up after the fire in 2020. Food hasn't changed as well and still has that great taste that you can't get from other restaurants. All in all go there definitely no questions asked as it's the perfect Indian restaurant
