   Really great restaurant! The duck roll starters were amazing! For mains we had egg fried rice, Singapore noodles and the Malaysian style chicken. All were really tasty. Their ice cream dessert was also a nice touch to finish off the meal. Really great friendly service. Highly recommend!

   We don't often eat at Crispy Duck, but whenever we have it's been delicious! Their food is especially stunning, the presentation absolutely blew our minds the first time our food came! Colourful and tasty! Prices were a bit high, but the quality absolutely justified it! Location is great and easily accessible off Whitchurch road. If you are in the mood for some excellent Asian fusion food, this place is a must try.

   Had a fantastic meal at The Crispy Duck in Cardiff. I went for the Malaysian chicken curry, vegetable fried rice, and dry peppered pork ribs—all absolutely delicious. The curry was packed with flavour, the rice was spot on, and the pork ribs were crispy and full of depth. Service was quick and really friendly. It’s a great place with a warm vibe and consistently good food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

   We had a delightful trip to this restaurant this evening! Each dish was delicious and there was soo much more on the menu I would love to have tried. The food was so authentic and the owner was amazing. It was someone in our bookings birthday and they even brought out a cake! We will 100% be returning and loved it.

   I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now and it never disappoints. It’s halal, family-owned, and the staff — especially Erik — are absolutely brilliant. You always feel so welcomed and looked after. The food is out of this world. The crispy chilli squid and prawn toast starters are a must-try (seriously addictive), and the duck wraps are some of the best I’ve ever had. For mains, you can’t go wrong with the beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, and their egg fried rice — all cooked perfectly every single time. It’s rare to find a place that keeps getting better after so many years, but they genuinely do. Can’t recommend it enough — if you’re in Cardiff and want amazing halal Chinese food with a real family vibe, this is the spot!

   Lovely restaurant, great service and vibe to it and clean as well. The food all looked good and I was super torn on what to order ended up getting the Beef ramen and was disappointed with it. If I could describe it one word it would probably be bland which is not what you want when you pay over £12 for a meal. The food looked great but portions on my friends meals wasn't the best. Overall not a bad restaurant just wasn't as good as I was expecting from a place that has in the past won top 50 in Cardiff

   This place deserves the praise it gets. The signature crispy duck is succulent and, well, crispy and the plum sauce is masterfully constituted. The stir fried soba is homely and very tasty, the chicken in it tender. The only shortcoming was the soft shell crab sushi roll. It came apart occasionally but the taste was on point. Not bad at all taking into consideration the family running the restaurant is actually from Malaysia. Regardless, the staff are attentive and very professional and the decor is plain but atmospheric. The music selection is also tasteful.
