Terrible service. Placed an order through Uber eats, ordered placed and order confirmed. 40 mins later the order was cancelled with no explanation. They also did not answer their calls. If the shop was closed the order should not have been taken!
Have to plan a day in advance to get food out from this place. Very very slow. Ordered from Uber eats, I asked the delivery man to find out why the orders taking long. Delivery driver said they had a very bad experience with them. Think it’s time to find another Caribbean takeaway that can delivery to get the food out in time
We have ordered from here multiple times but never again! First every time the wait for this is unacceptable we call prior and ask how long because we know it’s always a wait. Today we called and asked how long they said a 5 minute wait we was in the shop for 30 minutes!!!! Waiting is not a problem but when giving sugar coated time is very annoying. After waiting 1 hour 30 in total for food. They gave us burnt dumplings that were cold as if they had been waiting there. On top of that we ordered a crumble which was so burnt and the crumble is supposed to come with custard and gave us no custard!!! When we went back for the 2nd time they gave us 2 tiny pots of COLD custard after waiting for another 10 minutes!!!! We asked on the phone what prawns they recommended for us to try!! They gave us burnt over cooked prawns and even when the shell was off you could still taste the burn. Our order was £40 after waiting for 1 hour and 30 mins being given burnt over cooked cold food with no compensation at all!!! There was 3 other people in the shop and they were all saying the same and no workers even apologised this is totally unacceptable and should not be a business when have no understanding of customer service!!! A shame because first time high expectations were set now it’s shambles
Words aren't enough but what's not to say about this place... Authentic, delicious and nutritious. The food tasted incredible and the price to portion ratio was spot on. Not only that but respect to the chef working on his ones and managing so well. Just got done munching my left over wings from last night and they were just as, if not more peng. 100% recommended and will be definitely revisiting.
Thought it was going to be abit of a gimmick in the big trays etc looking flashy but no it was not the food was amazing lush goat curry, fried chicken and the lamb chops were amazing Aswel even the apple crumble to finish it off was lovely Aswel :) lobster tray for me next time
Really enjoyed the jerk chicken, rice and peas, Mac n cheese and dumplings. Flavour was absolutely banging and the chicken was cooked well but nice and moist and just fell off the bone. I’ll definitely be going back and I recommend this place to others.
