   I normally come to Tesco for shopping, and was thinking i should give this place a try. The food was really nice the service was really good, we paid £18.00 for 2 mini cods, a small portion of chips and 2 drinks which i think is a fair price. The fish was really nice and so were the chips service was really good, the only issue was the tables were filthy, and nobody was cleaning them, floors were dirty had chips and bits of fish on it, we had to ask for our table to be cleaned, other than that would recommend.

   Served up hot and fresh. We all enjoyed our food.. just under £20 for 3 meals, no drinks inc. The venue was ok, pretty basic. It has a lot of room for improvement on the decoration. I scored my food at a 7/10. It came out slow, and the staff seemed laid back in general. I'd return.

   The lady that serves, (she has strawberry blonde hair) is lovely and polite to her customers. Shop floor is reasonably clean customer side of the counter. This is a large fish and a small chips. (Pics added) £8.70 I found to be a really good portion sizes. However the fish was in need of draining better before wrapping up to take away, as it was quite greasy when I got home. But the fish inside was perfectly cooked, and as you can see the batter was perfect. Chips are lovely too.

   Me and my dad try to go here once a week, we live in Anstey village with 2 chip shops but they are rank! the fish & chips here are fresh, perfectly cooked, delicious and plentiful! the girls serving are very jolly, polite and helpful. In mine and my father's opinion this is the best chip shop for miles!
