The food here is absolutely beautiful, everything is so fresh and flavourful!! The staff are also really lovely! I highly recommend to anyone.
Ordered from Chequers a few times recently and everytime I haven’t been disappointed, the chicken and mushroom curry is really nice, actually the best chicken I’ve had from a Chinese takeaway in a long time and the chips are to die for! Delivery drivers all seem friendly and delivery is always really quick, and the portion sizes are massive, prices are reasonable too, overall a really good Chinese takeaway, 5/5
We order from here most weekends and the food is absolutely lovely. The delivery driver is always so friendly and often talks to my husband about F1 when he notices us watching it during delivery! The man on the phone who takes our order is always so polite - we don’t even have to give him our address anymore - he must have our number saved and knows who we are. This makes the service even more personable. Only time we will ever order from anywhere else is if they’re shut - like now for a holiday & we’ve had to order from somewhere else - which most definitely will not compare! Thank you.
Great food. Never had a bad meal from them. Their delivery service is good and very friendly. On a couple of occasions when the order was slightly wrong they made up for the next time. Highly recommend
I have probably had about 10 takeaways from Chequers over the last two years. I can honestly say this is the best Chinese I've ever had the privilege of ordering from. Not only is the food outstanding, but it is consistent. I have yet to receive anything less than perfect from here. An absolute gem.
Always delicious and hot, plenty of food per portion, value for money. Every time we try different dishes and they're all fantastic!! This place is so popular that in some times phone lines are busy and you need to keep trying for longer to get through, but it's worth waiting :)
Also spot on. Never had a bad meal, or experience in 5 years. Always family and friends have commented how nice it is. Little freebie touch when you spend some much as well, goes along way.
Good food nice people quick delivery
Haden't had a Chinese takeaway for a long time and several disappointing ones. This was in my view just how Chinese food should be. Perfect fried rice, the chips were perfect Chinese style. I will be definitely using them again.
What can I say….. first time we have used Chequers of Anstey , the food quality and portion size was EXCELLENT!! Not salty or greasy like many others we have tried, well cooked and great value for money! Service was really good with friendly staff. We will definitely be returning!!
