Had a take away. Never again, absolutely terrible .chicken was slimey, my salt and chilli chips were tastless . I was ill within 30 mins of eating it.
Ordered for home delivery, unfortunately the chicken in the chow mein was chewy and the noodles weren’t even the chow mein noodles. The rice was completely sticky. Very unhappy.
Placed an order from there own website waited 1.5 hours to receive food No show rang and asked whe re it was and they said they had an issues had to. Wait another hour don't wait Ur time
Just had a beautiful meal this evening. Food was so tasty, fresh and delicious but what really made it was the service from the two young lads who looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were both so impressed with their customer service skills- enough to make me go out of my way to write a review! Thank you lads - all credit to you!
This is my go to chinese, food its what you’d expect from a Chinese rest, not too greasy, super tasty, some msg and ridden with guilt when you finish it. Takeaway is better mind, slight markup when you eat in, often a quid or so on top of each dish, but only matched by their outstanding service. In my experience; Joel is personable, very friendly and speedy service, all you could want from a local chinese. Give this place a try before reading grouchy Tony G’s review, expecting a gourmet meal from a pub takeaway. 4/5.
