   What a wonderful Fish and chip shop. Whilst there was a huge queue. It didn’t take long to be served, and in such a cheerful, friendly and efficient manner! The food we ordered was hot, fresh and extremely tasty. I would whole heartedly recommend this establishment and is definitely a ‘must try’ locally. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu on future visits Many thanks

   Fabulous fish and chips, you're asked if you want fish when you walk through the door and by the time you reach front of queue it's ready, cooked to order piping hot. Great staff, always time for a smile. Best shop for many miles

   We have heard many positive things about this chip shop but it was our first time visiting in years, despite living locally. My husband is extremely fussy so pleasing him is a challenge. He had mini cod and small curry sauce, I had a battered sausage and a fish cake (needed to try both) and we shared a regular chips (we had more than enough chips for the 2 of us) and we were not disappointed. My husbands words were “this fish is unbelievable and the whole meal is superb “ and mine was very tasty too. Will definitely be using here from now on. It’s always a very good sign when people are queuing out of the door 5 minutes after opening.

   By far the best chip shop in South Leicestershire. They have a fantastic recipe that results in a consistently crispy golden batter, the chips are chunky but never greasy or dry and can be eaten by the truck load if you're not careful. The staff are generally very open and the owner seems to always be present during service, the wait time can add up however, but that is only down to the amount of people queuing to get food at the busy hours - when it's quiet you can be in and out in 5 minutes with the same quality as always. I've been going almost every week after my late shifts for over a year and never had a bad plate.

   Best chippy in Leicestershire! The service is some of the friendliest I’ve ever experienced, staff were very friendly and welcoming. I asked if they served battered halloumi and they went out of their way to accommodate me, it was delicious!!! The chips were fresh and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about their food and their customers! Can’t wait to come back
