   Mouse poo and "sticky" fresh wee next to open food and on takeaway containers was found by health inspectors when they visited a Leicester restaurant. The inspectors shut Spicy Flames Indian Restaurant on the spot, saying it posed an imminent risk to public health. Environmental health officers Su Clement and Natasha Blunt, who carry out food hygiene inspections for Leicester City Council, also found the droppings and urine on and around pan lids, kitchen trays and other cooking equipment, and open tubs of food by at Spicy Flames, 118 Howard Road, Clarendon Park, during a routine inspection. They told staff to stop serving customers immediately, and issued Spicy Flames with a Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Notice, forcing it to stop trading

   I have gave 2* for food was hot and came on time. I was expecting, being Indian restaurant food would be spicy and tasty but they've used sugar which i hate!!. Mutter paneer was too sweet in taste as well as Chana Masala had no taste was completely bland. I would not visit again that's my personal view, if you love sugar in your plate this place is for you.

   Really disappointed. Wrong food was delivered, and without a Just Eat receipt attached to the bag. My partner had ordered vegetarian food and when he called the restaurant, they just hung up when they registered the issue. The quality of the food they delivered was really poor: undercooked, unmarinated meat with gristle and an artificially sweet, heinz-like consistency for the sauce. Dealing with stomach bugs tonight and generally just so gutted by the service. Shame, but we won't be ordering from here again.

   Ordered off Uber eats and never been so disappointed with a takeaway in my life. Only ordered 3 starters. Prawn butterfly was bland and had no taste. Meat somasos were not very nice. Onion bhajis were cold in the middle with an extremely crispy exterior. Do not recommend this place. The only good thing was the tango they supplied.

   If I have a takeaway indian I always go to spicy flames. I always ask for extra spice or particular changes to the order and they always deliver. I think it's a lovely place, I get delivery and the drivers are always lovely and polite. Good quality food, decent price and turns up hot. The only downside is that it usually takes over an hour to arrive, but that being said - I'm happy to wait for good food!

   ordered meal at 18.26 received confirmation of order followed by another email informing that the meal would be slightly later between 19.40-19.55 meal arrived at 20.45. We were both underwhelmed by the food my my husband’s main was supposed to be medium he could hardly taste the spices my main was supposed to be hot I would say it was mild. I ordered samosas which were three for £2.95 however there were only two in the package and they were stone cold to the touch and when we bit into them they were still frozen inside!!! Shameful! While I appreciate this is difficult times and they were busy there was no excuse for the poor quality of the food. I deeply regret spending nearly £30 for this meal which was a treat after a busy week of work on the frontline!

   Disgusting! Order from else where! Food arrived ridiculously quickly, which says immediately its been microwaved. Not a problem if done right, but congealed rice and paneer which was so hard, dry and tasteless that I might as well have eaten cardboard was not exactly what I expected when I ordered. I was genuinely shocked that such sub-standard food was delivered to me and even more so that I had paid to eat such inedible crap. I contacted the restaurant within 2 minutes of receiving my food to make them aware, the man who dealt with me was rude and condescending, tried to tell me that I didn't understand what I'd ordered and was not apologetic in the slightest. He didn't disagree when I said it'd been microwaved and when I asked if they could send a freshly cooked one out he said no. Therefore I requested a refund, but when the rude delivery driver came back with my cash I had to hand back over the uneaten food! Yes, really - scraped off my plate and all. As I hadn't eaten it, there was no way I physically could, this wasn't really an issue but I'd been seconds away from scraping it into my bin as never have I been asked to return food before. I don't really like to be made out to be a liar when I've taken the time to let you rectify your poor food offerings, if you had of sent a freshly cooked one instead I wouldn't be here leaving this review, so let that be a lesson in customer service Spicy Flames. Other customers, save yourselves a few quid and buy a ready meal, that's effectively what you'll get from this place. But at least a curry from Asda might actually be edible and hopefully you won't need to deal with obnoxious individuals to get it.
