Really disappointed with my visit. I asked to upgrade plain rice to egg fried rice — something that’s clearly already on their menu — and was told they couldn’t do it. It’s such a simple request, and most places are more than happy to accommodate a small change like that. Instead, I was left paying for something I didn’t want with zero flexibility from the staff. If a restaurant can’t manage a basic swap for an item they already serve, it really puts me off returning. Poor service and no willingness to help.

The chat items were satisfactory. The noodles were a bit too salty. It was a pleasant experience for a single visit. Place more suitable for Non vegetarian dishes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding — the best Indian in Clarendon Park! I’ve been to Indian Rooster multiple times now, and every single visit has been nothing short of excellent. The food is consistently delicious — flavour, freshly prepared, and full of authentic Indian taste. The service is just as impressive. Friendly, attentive staff who make you feel genuinely welcome, every time. They really go the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience. And the prices? More than fair for the quality and portions you get. It's an incredible value. Indian Rooster is a local gem — hands down the best place to eat in Clarendon Park. Can’t recommend it enough!

— Edited review — Won’t be coming back. The last time, I was served an equivalent of alien food. Chicken Jalfrezi was green with food coloring. Just look at the photos I took. The aroma of good herbs was gone. What was left of the curry paste was a blended blob of oil, onions, and food coloring. How disappointing that they can’t maintain the quality of the food. — Old review — Great price and enormous portion! If you don’t have big appetite, I recommend going for a small bowl. That’s already big. We ordered a pani puri, a chicken tikka masala and a chicken biryani. All were delicious. Order at the counter with table service.

The service, food, and ambiance were all excellent. The staff noticed that we might not be able to finish our meal and proactively asked if we needed containers for takeout when delivering our dishes. The dining area was clean. Most importantly, the food was worth it. This time we ordered Chicken Hakka noodles and Chicken fried rice; the sides and meat portions were generous, and the seasoning was layered. It was a wonderful dining experience.

Fast food appearance but excellent authentic Indian flavours. Generous portions, picture shows (eat-in) veg biryani and fish pakoda, both served with raitha/yogurt, with beer (Cobra on tap) £21.30. Busy at 7.30-8.00, with mostly serving for take-away.

We had a quiet meal on Saturday night. The food was spicy , but not over spiced. Good food very reasonably priced.

Disappointing apart from the lollipop chicken, too much masala, chicken curry was terrible, haka noodles was ok. Nice vibe and friendly staff but will be sticking to pub grills. A bit of a missed opportunity for this side of town. Also seems to be double the pub prices with the grill at £30 and curry ordered at £13

It has a really nice ambience, good staff, and the quality is nice as well. The only thing they are missing is management. I just ordered a very small dish. The Samosa chat took 20 minutes to serve. Food was warm taste was delicious. I am not here to criticize them but they need to keep up with the customer service timings. Later on I ordered a chicken biryani which was delivered hot in 6 minutes. Well here's my final call on stars. 1st star for the Ambience. 2nd star for the cleanliness and Hygiene. 3rd star for the presentation. 4th star for the food quality. I have left out the 5th star for service time. The overall experience was good. Family restaurant and great restaurant.

Fully recommend! Heard some good things about those place and was not disappointed. Popped in for lunch and eat in the restaurant. Food was lovely and all fresh. The dishs come out as they are ready and are great to share. We tried three dishes and all were excellent! Eating in and getting the food fresh was definalty the way. The price seemed a bit steep but was justified by the quality of the food. Staff were lovely and explained the menu well. Defo will return.
