We have been to The Bulls Head a number of times, always been happy. However, we went for my birthday yesterday, a group of 10. My steak was full of grizzle, could only eat half of it. Our friend could not eat the lamb chops as they were full of fat. Very disappointing for a special occasion. We wondered if there had been changes in the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just one last thing, it was very cold and all had to eat with our coats on hence 3 stars for room.

Went for a Sunday carvery recently. Staff were polite and fairly quick to seat us, but were clearly very busy and stressed. As for the food, whilst they provided a large portion of meat, neither the meat or veg was anything special. The roast potatoes were nice, but everything else just seemed bland. I'm informed that the beer was also not tasty. Maybe they just weren't having the best day, but I won't be returning myself sadly.

Sunday lunch, but, sadly, another local eatery that disappointed. I want to write really positive reviews, but there has to be merit; here, there was little to be impressed with. The beef was dreadful, and when I told the waiter, he did offer more turkey. Although the turkey was OK, I didn't like the prevailing taste of the meal, so I declined. I ate about half the plate, mainly because of the awful skin-on roast potatoes, which tasted like they had been cooked in some vegetable oil. The vegetables were boiled and almost good, the gravy tasteless, and the rest was average. We paid full price, which doesn't reflect well on the place. The staff were pleasant enough, but I must comment on the guy in front of me in the queue. He asked for a small portion and got the same as me, ordering a regular portion. Odd. The staff were working hard, so I am sorry to report that the food was so poor. For balance, my wife had the vegetarian option and enjoyed it.

We had a table for 6 in the restaurant on Sunday 10th November at 4.30pm sitting. The restaurant was full. It was great to see that the chef who was busy carving was being supported from the kitchen staff who were continually topping up the hot vegetables along with condiments and Gravy. We never had desserts, we were too full but they looked fabulous too. The bar staff are friendly and there are a good choice of wines served at bar. We had young members of family with us so we enjoyed sitting outside with drinks before dinner and the children could explore the play area. The staff were friendly and efficient which makes the whole dining experience enjoyable.

Really good family pub. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I’m particularly impressed and I am here. Ticks all the boxes, play area, colouring and crayons for the kids. A decent pint, nice traditional but well kept decor with indoor and outdoor background music. The food is really good and incredibly cheap & great value. The icing on the cake is the staff and service. Young well mannered and helpful people who are a credit to the establishment. Well done, We’l definitely be back.

Great food and was able to get a table for 6 without booking even though it was busy. A little concerning they'd ran out of certain food as they'd only been serving for two hours but might be a stock issue. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

Had lunch with Kenilworth Walkers on Thursday - 15 people arriving at the same time. Our orders and payment were done quickly and there is a very good value lunch offer of 2 meals for Β£15. Food arrived super fast - we were amazed. Everyone was happy with their meal and the service throughout was friendly and welcoming. Under new management - we wish them every success as our first experience was really good. Thank-you!

Popped in after a walk at Coombe Abbey on a Sunday, hoping they could squeeze us in, and they did! Staff were super friendly and accommodating, place was well decorated and very clean. Other customers were lovely. We had a carvery which was on par with The Huntsman in Dunchurch. Food was amazing, really nice. Will definitely be returning. Many thanks :)

Lovely decor, friendly staff, yummy food. Staff catered to all our needs even when we accidentally stayed half an hour after closing. We ordered food at 2:20 when they close at 3 and they let us stay until 3:30 to finish our food. Fajitas are delicious and a great deal, they brought out extra guacamole, salsa and sour cream very quickly when asked. Lunch menu very reasonably prices at 2 for Β£15. Only slight disappointment was only two choices of cider.

We went to the Bull a few months ago and as my review said it was awful in all ways . The only good thing about it was the young lady who served us . I drove by the other day and noticed it was under new management . We have just made a return visit and what a change . All the staff were lovely and the food very good . I had the fish and it must have been on steroids it was massive . Keep up the good work we shall be back .
