The best Chinese around here and you get a lot more for your money than the one by the traffic lights. Quality food and fast service. My go to when I get a Chinese. Spot on every time
From Customer to Victim. I've been coming here for over 3 years now and ordered a takeaway consisting of Special Fried rice, Chips and curry sauce..I was not impressed to find out that the chips were not fresh...they were re heated chips from the day before..! When I called the shop to complain they simply told me that they were fresh almost insinuating that I was not truthful on this matter.! I have always enjoyed the chips from a Chinese takeaway but these were well below standard and not what I would call edible.. Perhaps I was just unlucky enough to be one of the first to walk through the door and subsequently ended up with everybody's heated up leftovers from the previous day.. The young lad who answered the phone did say he was sorry...however that's not a cure for food poisoning..!!! I would suggest that health and safety and the food standards agency pay this little place a visit as soon as possible... Someone could end up with serious health problems eating from here..or even worse.!
First time ordering from here. Food was very tasty, piping hot and good portion sizes. Delivery was friendly and efficient. Will definitely order again
Black bean chicken was rich & flavourful. Egg fried rice was soft and fluffy. Amazing. Lovely customer service too will be back!
First time visiting Chef Canton after driving past it countless times. Firstly, this place is very busy. The phone is constantly ringing and people coming in and out all the time to place orders which is a great first impression! A few of things to note, it’s cash only, they do local deliveries but are not on any delivery apps such as JustEat etc. The lady at the front was really polite and attentive. As we’d never been before we were a bit overwhelmed with the extensive menu (which I’ve added to the photos.) we decided to give the salt & pepper box a try with some egg fried rice and shredded beef with Cantonese sauce. The food was actually really tasty and full of flavour. The salt & pepper box gives you a taste of all of salt & pepper options available singularly. The pricing is very good for the portion sizes, we’ll definitely be coming here again! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu.
Tried here tonight as our regular takeaway was shut. not impressed. Spring rolls overcooked and burnt tasted awful. Chicken balls seemed to be really thick doghy batter and undercooked. Would not recommend

Ordered a Chinese from chef Canton yesterday special in sweet and sour sauce arrived very quickly with warmed up chips and the Special in sweet and sour consisted of onions carrots and 1 mushroom after a telephone call they replied nothing I can do now as your order now has been deleted for yesterday will not order again
Love Chef Canton, food is always excellent and big portions. Collection is very quick.
Food came within 10 mins of ordering. Food wasn't fully cooked...prawns were cold. Chips were reheated as I believe the rest of the food was. Upon calling back nothing was going to be done. I told them I would report them to health and safety Food hygiene....they came back for the uneaten Food and gave a refund. But phone manners were shocking. Very argumentative. Just rude.
