Ordering gluten free food was difficult. The staff member wasn't helpful and letting out noisy sighs when she could tell I wasn't impressed. One person was serving customers, while a considerable queue built up behind me. No bread roll or onion rings but I still had to pay the same price. Both meals were pathetic. I won't be returning.
Wish I could give a zero, the food was absolutely diabolical. I work in a kitchen myself and I can say it was one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. My steak was paper thin and was well done even though I asked for medium rare, the scampi was cold on the outside yet extremely hot on the inside so was clearly microwaved, the fried mushrooms were rubberyer than the bottom of a shoe and the fries were extremely dry. And don't get me started on the wait time, the place was empty yet we waited over an hour for my food. In short I will never eat here again. I wish I never spent my money here.

We come at lunch time for my sons Birthday, Booked on line got seated straight away, Ordered food on app came quick and it was amazing red hot sizzling and very tasty. The pudding was Beautiful !!!!
Delicious, big portions of food at seriously good value which not common these days. Got the double buttermilk chicken burger and chicken kebab, both such big portions we struggle to finish, and glad we didn't order starters. Really friendly and helpful service, not the pretend friendly type, it's sincere as the staff would offer you help like you just step into a family cafe. Never a fan of chains, but this branch of a chain changed my mind.

Been to the Armytage Arms today for a meal. There were 18 of us. They put us in a separate room, the tables were well spread out giving us ample space to move around. The food was excellent. I was amazed at how quickly and promptly the food was served, given that we all ordered different meals. Everything was piping hot and nicely presented. The desserts were delicious too. The staff were very pleasant and really made us welcome. Well done to you all and thank you.
Wow honestly we have visited this place a few times over the years and My oh my the food was just Devine and for the price deals you just can’t complain . The place was open n clean also relaxed feel a few workmen near the bar but it’s good to have that open feel aswell . The bar staff were very polite also freindly they couldn’t do enough for us so we had 3 meals also decided to stop for desert which was just icing on the cake for a pre birthday meal I would highly recommend
Really enjoyed the food. It was tasty and sizzling hot (just as I like it) which is more than can be said for many places serving food. If I had a criticism, it would be that there was only one hand pulled ale available. That's a personal observation, but there was nothing wrong with the ale I had. All in all a very enjoyable experience and I'm sure we'll be back very soon.
Very friendly welcome. Excellent menu choice. Mixed grill was perfectly cooked. Chicken fajitas equally good. Great service - tasty food. Lovely environment
