   Went in for drinks. It's obviously a student pub as right near the University. Didn't have food but the drinks were very cheap. Quite busy but the service was still good.

   I am normally quite pleased with the Duck, having frequented the pub very often as a Warwick student. However, today I was charged £8.50 twice (the price for my pint and food order combined), simply because the pub’s receipt system didn’t show my order as having gone through. This happened despite me clearly showing evidence that the first payment had gone through on my banking app. I was therefore forced to pay again to be able to spend time with my friends, something which is far from ideal for anyone, let alone a uni student already having to deal with high prices on campus. I would have expected something complementary from the pub to compensate for this, but instead I had to pay £8.50 again and they just brushed it under the carpet. Very disappointed.

   A great atmosphere, lovely staff and class food. Decent variety of beers and other drinks, with a couple of good ales on tap. A little pricey on drinks, but the kitchen staff are always on-point.

   Cool place to hang out with friends at Uni. They have variety of foods, and the chickens are halal. I especially love the vegetable curry, and the burgers are nice too. Prices are not too expensive. The staffs are friendly, helpful, and professional.
