   Proper Thai traditional food made authentically. My partner and I got just some soups that we love after being in Thailand and asked for it to be spicy... my god... it was incredible! Really had all the flavours and spice you'd genuinely expect and the staff were lovely!

   Was a regular customer for 3Long-time customer, very disappointed. I’ve been coming here for years, but the quality has gone downhill. The Sunday buffet now feels stingy: even at 12:30, multiple trays are left empty and not replenished, which just makes guests scramble for whatever’s available. I first thought it was because I arrived late (around 1:30) on a previous visit, but even when I came early the same thing happened—empty pans and no effort to refill. Service has slipped, too. When I politely asked for a clean set of cutlery for dessert, the staff looked annoyed and said, “I told you not to get your cutlery dirty.” That’s not acceptable hospitality. Please keep dishes stocked throughout buffet hours and treat customers with basic courtesy.

   The Thai Orchid has always been true gem in Banbury. You walk into the restaurant and feel as though you've stepped into another world between the abundance of plants, the indoor pond and the intricately carved stunning tables. The team are always ever so friendly and welcoming! The food is simply delicious and the Thai Orchid is somewhere I regularly recommend to any looking for a delicious meal!

   After seeing lots of good reviews, my husband and I went here for dinner tonight. The ambiance was lovely, and the staff were polite, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I was surprised to find no vegan options at all. I settled for a vegetarian dish—Pak Pad Prig (stir-fried vegetables with garlic and fresh chilli)—but it was completely bland. My husband’s non-veg dish was also mediocre. Overall, not a place for vegans or vegetarians, despite the great service.

   FOOD IS SUPERB. Couldn’t fault any of the dishes. It was perfectly seasoned — “Asian-style”, which for me meant that they were awesomely salty, unapologetically sweet in all the best possible ways! The place was busy when we went; nonetheless, still was a great experience and added to the atmosphere! By far the best Thai food my husband and I ever had. Also, if you love plants! This place is sooo green! [no other photos, we enjoyed our dining so much!!!]

   Went to Banbury for a walk and found a big Thai restaurant. Oh, I miss Thai food soooooooo much! Let’s try! They have a lunch menu which includes a lot of good choices. I had a chicken green curry. The taste is traditional, not very spicy. I love it! We met a lovely staff. She is a Thai but spoke Cantonese to us! She said she love a Hong Kong actor so learned Cantonese by herself. What a talented woman! She was so happy to see us so she can practise her Cantonese while we are happy to speak our mother language here too. A very special and surprising experience! We we were told that they have buffet on Sunday, hope to visit soon.

   I think yesterday I discovered one of Banbury's most Indulgent dining experiences. I love an all you can eat and this one challenged me! Interior⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The interior awe inspiring, such a beautiful place and it just goes on and on. The decor is like stepping into another country and is beautiful. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As it is a buffet its hard to say exactly what the service would be like for main menu however the drinks were served quickly and empty plates cleaned away very promptly. The buffet gets absolutely smashed by the hundreds of hungry folk so occasionally it did look a bit empty but they worked hard to keep as many dishes full as possible. Food/drink⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The selection of food is unreal! I couldn't ask for more choice. Everything I had wS amazing but some highlights were the pulled pork pancakes, the green curry, whole salmon, calamari, spring rolls, the crunchie dessert and dare I say it, the chips were actually banging (I don't know why I even tried them but I am so glad I did) Price⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ £19 per person for all you can eat is amazing value when you eat as much as I do, and the choice means there are still things left to try next time! Overall⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot give this anything less than 5 stars, it was a faultless lunch buffet for me. And I simply cannot wait to get back at it next month!
