   Been ordering from Desi Spice for years then the other night they went and robbed me. Ordered their 2 Kebab and Pizza + 1.5L Pepsi deal for £17 as it states on their menu and on Just Eat. When I arrived to collect I was given a sorry looking bag with one kebab and chips in it, (chips were not part of the deal) and the solitary pizza. When I began to question the mistake, the man on the counter was clearly prepared for the upcoming argument, slowly but surely I was surrounded by staff and told that the deal doesn’t exist. The deal clearly does exist, it’s written in many different forms and formats, so they knowingly charged me £17 for the £14 deal then ganged up on me and told me to take it up with JustEat. I then tried to order the second kebab separately so that I wouldn’t be going home to an upset wife (we all know that feeling eh lads?) their response was then to tell me they were closed and wouldn’t be doing that. Couldn’t actually believe it. Didn’t even let me get the bottle of Pepsi. Wounded. Won’t be going there again, it would appear the place is now run by criminals. If you want a takeaway go elsewhere.

   Takeaway and food appaling. Worst kebab in the uk. Mixed kebab don’t bother yourself. And delivery driver doesn’t even get out his car. You get a call to come out into the street where he puts his window down and passes the food. However resistive serious needs to look at other takeaway offers. And the taste doner meat has zilch flavour nor does there tikka. Mint with chilli sauce ain’t happening with the taste buds either. Sort yourselves out please. You could have the monopoly in the area.

   Nice food but ordered 2 kebabs and chips which should of been £16 tried charging £28 pounds and for 3 kebabs and chips when only ordered 2 kebabs which would of been £24.. obviously trying there luck this has happened before so can’t be a mistake. There’s a sign on the counter saying prices may have changed to the menu.. this obviously is excusing them charging what they like. Make sure you check prices and change Or you will be robbed.!!!’

   Peri peri strips is basically plain cooked chicken with with chilli sauce on top..Up all night with bad stomach, and throwing up every hour, do not recommend to anybody, food was obviously not safe for human consumption

   Rather disappointing, ordered chicken tikka garlic balti and couldn’t taste any garlic or tikka. All I got was tomato and chilli. Donner kebabs and chips were nice though, not greasy at all.

   Would’ve given 0 if possible as we didn’t actually receive any food to rate. Ordered from Just Eat and were really looking forward to it with the reviews/value for money but after saying our food was on the way we never received the food we paid for. Tried to ring and there was no answer. If they were closing and couldn’t fulfil the order would’ve appreciated the money not being taken from our account and them letting us know. Really unfortunate as it is so local to us and I’m not one to complain but we couldn’t get in touch with anyone.

   Have ordered from here a few times, it’s never been the best but it’s local. The most recent order will be the last. Food turned up over 40 minutes late, with no kind of explanation just the delivery driver holding the bag at arms length to your face expecting you to take it. How the food was packed it to the bag (just thrown in to the bag) the sauce from my wife’s masala had covered pretty much everything and half the rice from one box was in the bottom of the bag. The poppadoms were soggy and tasted of nothing. For some reason my wife ordered chips, these were stone cold.. and this is every time I/we order from here. I ordered donner meat and chips last week and it was cold. Barely any donner meat and the chips were vile. Given this place multiple tries but just can’t face it again
