Ordered poppadoms n pickle tray, Royal Mixed starter, chips, fried rice n my wife & i chose curried dishes we hadn't had before, food arrived bang on time,piping hot, n the food was stunning, highly recommend and will now be our go to curry house, beautiful
A little small on the eat in side but it is run by hard working family with the traditional foods of home this place is really nice and the people running it even better they always look after there customers with love and care and are kind genuine people
Possibly the worst curry we have ever had. Takeaway arrived worryingly fast. The mixed starter had a weird off smelling fish in it (maybe old tuna?) and the lamb bhuna was just full of gristle in a watery flavourless sauce thag had no spice at all. We thought the same a few years back and thought that we would give them another chance. It will only be Rubys in future!
I’m sorry, I don’t take much and I’m not particularly fussy, but the food delivery we have just received is disgusting. The meat starter was especially bad. All cold, dry and tasteless. Looks like it was been reheated. The meat was in a single plastic box and all smelt and tasted of fish, not in a nice way. Bright yellow rice, the madras sauce was like orange wallpaper paste. Onion bhajis were nice.
This place is brilliant went Tuesday evening 3 course meal £10.95 the starters are freshly made in house and are to die for the main course I had lamb madras and it was absolutely fantastic. I always get Asian style. My wife had a chicken dish which was also brilliant and both our friends had chicken which was again absolutely fantastic chapatis freshly made so is the rice and the chips I could not fault this meal at all I can honestly say it is the best curry in MIRFIELD and surrounding area and they are always pleased to see you very Pleasant staff You do have to take your own alcohol, but this makes it an even cheaper evening and they are only two pleased to help. Thanks for a brilliant evening. Will see you again soon.
Good take away, not too spicy which will not suit all but we really enjoyed the food. We will be back
Called in for meal we had the set menu which was very reasonable with a good choice. The food was lovely with good service
After ordering food from here I got told it would be 50 to 60 minutes. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes I phoned them back only to be told I had already got my order, after keeping me waiting for 5 minutes more on the phone they said that they are very busy and my order was going out of the door now as we speak. Another 25 minutes later my frozen cold food arrived so I phoned them back only to be asked if I was a just eat customer or had i phoned it direct to them as they have to look after just eat customers and direct customers can wait and get frozen cold food. When I said this was unacceptable I got told in a very rude manner to cook my frozen cold food at home in my microwave. I don't know spice of bengaĺ had started doing this type of food, and I don't understand why they want to change full price for it. If doing food through just eat is making them too busy then maybe they need to stop doing just eat and concentrate on getting fresh,hot and good quality food out to the customers that have supported and kept them in business for years. If you are going to do frozen cold ready meals at least let the customer know and sell them at a appropriate price.
Poor packaging, very bad customer service and this sizzler starter is definitely not worth £7.50 for this at all. Very disappointing.
Not the largest restaurant but it is absolutely fabulous. The food is fantastic, the waiters are courteous, polite and can't do enough for you. The only downside is that it's a bit of a squeeze at times when people move between the tables. It won't put me off going again, it was lovely.
