   SANTA EXPERIENCE visited here yesterday for our Santa experience as a large family with one elderly family member also joining us, we found it to be very badly organised. After parking up and entering the barn there was no one directing us or telling us to sit down we sort of just followed own initiative after noticing there were children sat at the front talking to the performers. The little show started and it was fine, quite hard to hear from the back but whatever as long as the children enjoyed it. Then when it finished is when all the chaos started, everyone just flocked into the next room and it was a race to grab a table, I was quite worried with my newborn baby and my elderly grandfather that we would get knocked over, again no one in sight here to form a line or direct anyone. After quickly decorating our gingerbread man we thought it would be a good idea to beat the big crowd and get to Santa before we would be queuing for ages, we left the area and walked over to the next barn (again no one around, we was highly confused and hoped we was heading to the correct place). We reached the line for Santa and thankfully was close to the front. I have to give huge credit to Santa as he was great and really played his role well which is why I’ve offered more stars. The gifts for children were quite naff just the usual odd cuddly toy or games we have never heard of before. We exited meeting Santa into the ice skating which was nice but £2.50 extra to use the penguin aids which is just another way to charge. When we left we realised we missed being able to pet rabbits which was on the advertisement and this is again due to the lack of staff directing people on where to go. It’s a huge shame as still paid quite a fair bit to attend here with family. May I also recommend some bins around the areas as was a real struggle to find any!! Unfortunately won’t be returning

   RESTAURANT REVIEW FIRST visit for a pre-Xmas lunch for party of 3. Expect to receive the warmest of welcomes from the lovely Ola (restaurant manager) and her team. The restaurant environment is very comfortable (we were seated at a booth) and we ordered from the Festive Menu (2 or 3 courses). Food was delivered very quickly and all items were super hot and cooked perfectly (in our case Hereford Beef & Turkey) and portions are quite generous so be careful how many courses you plump for! It's an ideal place if you are mixing a bit of informal work/meetings which Bar Social on the G/F is ideal for followed by breakfast/lunch/dinner in the 1/F restaurant. HIGHLY recommended and we look forward to our next visit!

   Absolutely LOVED our recent stay (11-14 December '25). After having a traumatic experience with a booking at another allegedly dog friendly local hotel who decided to downgrade our room due to us bringing our dog all the way from Plymouth, we had to leave due to it being absolutely atrocious and unclean. We last minute called The Barn at 5.30pm on Thursday who quite literally SAVED our trip. The rooms are absolutely delightful, the bed comfy and cosy, bathroom immaculate, dog water bowl already filled and provided in the room with treats and poop bags aswell and other facilities on site are beyond expectation! The front desk staff all greeted us with a smile and a hello every time we entered/exited! The onside "Social" hub were beautifully presented with the butchers, bakery and bar area being welcoming and unique! Great parking and lovely location (quiet but nor far from anywhere we needed to be)! We were visiting friends and family as we no longer live in the area, bringing our sog for the first time and would without a doubt stay here next time we come to Coventry! Thank you to The Barn for accommodating us, we cannot wait for our next trip!

   Lovely rooms. So clean and fresh which makes you feel so comfortable! Nice and modern bathroom too. Really enjoyed staying in this room. As for the restaurant it was lovely. Not many places do a steak well but here they did and the desert which was a twist on crème brûlée was delightful.

   We visited The Barn one afternoon and had such a lovely experience. I ordered the fillet steak, which was perfectly cooked — tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. My partner chose the rolled pork belly, which was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and since it wasn’t too busy, we could really relax and enjoy our meal. The views from the restaurant are beautiful — a perfect backdrop for an afternoon meal. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a stunning setting. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

   Lovely little farm area, with amazing views to the fields. The restaurant is in a large open space, lovely place for lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Free restaurant car park outside. We pre-booked for lunch, the day before, which they said they couldn’t accommodate us 3, but could fit 2. So I had my daughter on my lap. We arrived at 12pm, the restaurant was quiet, we were seated and asked what drinks we would like, 30 mins later, we still hadn’t had our drinks, as the restaurant was slowly getting busier. We had to ask the waitress again and placed our order too. The food came quick. We had the Sunday roasts. Sadly my roast pig arrived with hair in, they changed it immediately however declared the hair was from the crackling , and didn’t replace it. The food was ok, nothing amazing, not well flavoured or too exciting. The Yorkshire was tough and overcooked. We had dessert as well, which was small, but nice. Overall it was nice place to meet for lunch, the service was really slow and disappointingly they could see we were struggling with a toddler on my lap. There were plenty of seats still available throughout the time we were there, but they didn’t reseat us. it cost us £35 ea for a Sunday roast dinner, 1 drink and dessert. So it felt overpriced when it wasn’t anything very special. Would come back and try again.

   Very good place to see and eat out. We got there at 17:30 and the shop was close at 17:00. The restaurant is nicely designed. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is just cooked right with fresh ingredients. If you don't know want to have ask the staff, they will help and advice which is good. The price is very good for the quality of the food. There is a big carpark right outside of restaurant. Over a must try.

   What an amazing restaurant!! Stunning views, great service and food. I was hosting a group of international colleagues with a variety of dietary and food needs. The fish risotto was cooked superbly. Fresh steak from their own stock, delicious salads, lovely sea bass. We tried one of every starter which was a treat for all to enjoy and share. The wine was good too, Malbec seemed to go down well. As we watched the sunset, it was a great location to sit, eat, chat and soak up the atmosphere. Well done the Barn, I look forward to the next visit!

   Went for lunch with girls on the Friday had a great time. Food delicious so I had to return on the Monday husband in toe and it didn’t disappoint. Tasty food, friendly and helpful staff and fabulous views. Definitely returning and bringing family and friends!! Such a treat, highly recommend.
