Food was good, proper desi taste. Restaurant very simple, no show-off, just food and eating. Our waiter Tayim was so silent I thought he was on mute. Came, dropped food, vanished. No smile, no talk, just serious like he’s doing government job. But the food came hot and tasty so I won’t complain. Just like amma makes it! And don’t get me wrong, Tayim was very helpful. If the waiter is that quiet and food still good, you know place is alright. Will go again. Let’s go.

We came as a large group today, with some of us visiting Bradford for the first time while working nearby. We had heard great things about the food, and it truly did not disappoint! The service was brilliant, and the food was absolutely fantastic — full of traditional choices and all very reasonably priced. Several in our group even said it was some of the best Indian food they had ever tasted. Highly recommend the chicken dosa, and the mango lassis were a real treat too. Thank you — we’ll definitely be back!

Read some reviews so decided to check this place out whilst in Bradford. Menu looked good and interesting with such a massive variety. Ordered a number of items expecting some mouth watering dishes bursting with flavour being in Bradford home of Asian Food. Oh Dear…. 1) pani puri - basic but ok filling but they were soft and abit tired. Not very spicy but the sauces came in handy. Get 6, nice presentation and passable taste but that’s it 5/10. 2) chapli kebab burger - it was tired and over cooked or frozen cooked. The edges were solid and literally could smack them on the table. Ended up with 30% of the kebab left after trimming away the hard bits but even then it was thin and not meaty at all. Chapli kebab stick with Peshawar. Basic dried out burger bun with some onion slice thrown on and looked upset and waste of money. 1/10 3) Shami kebab burger - like the street food you think nice tiki with salad sauces. This was a dried out burger bun with what looked like crumbly pretty old straight from the fridge tiki. It was literally just falling out it was that dry. No sauce or salad and it was not even touched. 0/10 4) masala dosa - tried first time, nice potato filling and made fresh. Not spicy but abit heavy on the tumeric. Rinsed my mouth after very yellow eww Still good to try rate it 6/10 At least the burgers came with some fries, they got eaten.. Mentioned the food issue especially the chapli kebab issue - fair enough they said should have mentioned and would have made something else - but what guarantee the other food is any better. You don’t order food from the menu to then be told you can get something else because the quality is below expectations (after paying). It should be bang on first time. Not every customer is going to complain about food, depends on the personality. Sorry but looks can definitely be deceiving and this is how me and a family of 4 left this shop. Won’t be going back. We got bitten by Mumbai Bites :( Decor and nice attitude deserve credit so that’s why it gets 2 stars overall.

I ordered masala dosa on uber eats. The food was below average the oil in sambar was not cooked properly there was a strong pungent smell coming from food even the potatoes was not peeled properly. Worst experience of ordering food from mumbai bites. Not recommended to anyone.

Visited for the 1st time. Still trying to find a decent local kobeda place since the King of Kobeda closed down. Firstly this kobeda was nowhere near. It's more of a large seekh kebab hybrid than a kobeda. Was still decent. At £15 for a double I'd expect better. Also ordered the chicken in naan wrap. The chicken was really good. As the naan came wrapped however it was quite evident the chicken to naan ratio wasn't great however. It was worth the price though. Also had keema and chips as a change up from going to Amaans grill all the time for this. The keema was nice and on par with Amaans but the big let down was the sauces. Amaans mint sauce is infinitely better and you've also got chilli and mayo at your disposal - unlimited. Here you got a small cup of chilli and mint sauce. Extra cheese on the keema was £1.50. Wouldn't have bothered if they mentioned this when asking if I wanted it. Overall a decent spot. Sauces are a massive let down. The chilli sauce was basically ketchup with a hint of mint and chilli. Needs working on. Would I go again? Possibly, mainly because there's plenty of seating and if Bombay stores isn't packed on the weekend there's plenty of parking outside. The food is good, just not the best

Generous portion size, great service, tasty snacks. We liked Vada pav & club sandwiches the most. Masala Dosa and Kathi rolls didn't meet our expectations, but not bad either. Service was great, they came to our table several times. Gulab Jamun was softer than the usual, but it was melting in the mouth, which was great.

Came here for a birthday meal. The food was spot on. I got my self lamb chops as a starter, perfectly cooked, and the mumbai bites sizzler, the chicken was soft and pulled apart easily.

I was confused to 1 or 2 stars but then I settled with one that too not because of there food but because of there presentation. I ordered Panipuri: which was too salty Dahi bhale: I was scared that I will break the spoon while trying to break dhalas Chole bhature: I will only like to say one of the worst one I had in my life Paneer Dosa: Dosa only passes of paneer nothing else and even the paneer was so hard that you can not break it with bare hands, showers this specially to the staff too. I will request if you don't have any option to eat and you are dying of hunger, please still don't eat there. It's BAD.
