Really like a Five Guys. It ain't cheap but it is a nice treat. The service in this branch was great last night. The person who served us was friendly and polite. My only issue with Five Guys is there is no veggie patty. The vegetarian options are not great and very limited.
Honestly, don't believe the hype, people there were great, 2 burgers and 2 fries with drink was £35 which would be fine if the quality of food was good. Burger was Luke warm at best and that was 1 minute after being served, the amount of fries you get is pretty disappointing. Not going to another 5 guys ever.
Stopped in after climbing, had a cheese dog and shared a large fries. The portion sizes on the fries are massive so I’d highly recommend sharing them if possible. The drinks are refillable (apart from milkshakes), but the milkshakes are well worth the extra. You can choose as many toppings as you like for food and as many ingredients as you like for the milkshakes. There’s lots of seating and a good-sized car park too. It can be expensive, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking it’s ‘just like McDonald’s’, it’s more like a restaurant than fast food like McDonald’s.
KILLER milkshakes. I put everything in and it was the most beautiful experience. I had the burger too (pic not included) and the bacon was crispy inside. You get to put as much toppings as you want for free! More on the pricey side but can't complain. The milkshake is to die for. Was my first time trying but will definitely try again.
Really nice five guys restaurant which is located on a really good strip. Newport road is in the heart of Cardiff and has a range of fantastic shops and restaurants. It had a good service here where staff were helpful and you could see that they were very hard working. It was very quiet on Sunday evening around 6.00 o'clock when I visited. The food was prepared and handed to us in a good time which meant we weren't waiting long. The food was incredible as usual. The drinks machine and condiment area are to the right of the store and the toilets through the doors to the left of the store. The floor was a little slippery however that's the same in the other two five guys I have ever been to. Please be mindful of this especially going to the bathroom. The store accepted cards and cash. The car park was medium sized to the left of the building. The atmosphere was very quiet but that was due to it being not very busy during the time of visit. Overall it was a pleasant visit, good store, nice staff, good service and great tasting food.

This Five Guys is situated in the old Frankie and Benny's site on Newport Road. It has ample free parking. Standard Five Guys, but the service and food was good. Clean and tidy.
Typical Five Guys... Which is awesome! Great food and always love the super clean open kitchen working like a well oiled machine.
