I visited here today with 10 friends from Sully Reengage over 75’s club. We were very well looked after by all the staff, especially Callum our waiter who was professional and friendly at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, even sorting out the bills individually was not a problem. Everyone enjoyed the lovely food and we even had a 20% off discount from the menu we ordered from, so what a bonus! A worthwhile trip in lovely surroundings, with lovely food and wonderful staff. Many thanks to all concerned.

Came in with a few of my friends this past weekend, really great vibe and energy here. We made the most of the two cocktails for £14 and had a couple of cocktails, Pina Coladas, Lemon Sours, Hugo Spritz and two Brambles, which are pictured. They all tasted great and were made at the bar just in front of us so we could see the making process. We shared a few sides off the menu, the truffle fries and tenderstem broccoli between us, which also came out quickly, they were really nice and would order again. One of the waitresses was kind enough to take our picture there, 10/10 would return again for a proper sit down meal.

Been wanting to come here for awhile, so what a time than for my birthday. We were early for our booking but we were allowed in which was great. Staff really attentive and helpful. We planned on having a 3 course meal each but couldn’t fit it in. We all had starters and a main. Great tasting food and really good portions. You can also sign up for vouchers off which is good too. I used a birthday voucher which entitles me to a “free” 3 course meal so long as someone else in the group ordered a starter, main and dessert. But they regularly send me vouchers for 20% off too. Would recommend!

Delicious meal at the Ego restaurant. I had a slightly more expensive starter of scallops and prawns, whereas my partner had the soup of the day, both of which were delicious. My main was sea bass and one of the nicest dishes I have had in a long time. Dessert was a lemon tart with raspberry ice cream. The cocktails were lovely and reasonably priced. They didn't have the wine I wanted ( Picpoul), so I went with a Sauvignon that was lovely. The service was excellent, and the restaurant looked lovely and was wonderfully air-conditioned. It was a fabulous evening with family, and it's always a pleasure to come here.

Visited Ego after friends had said they had a great experience and was not disappointed. Although busy we were seated and had our drinks order taken quickly. There was alot to choose from on the menu as well as a special menu, everything was reasonably priced. Food didn't take too long even though it was busy and looked as good as it tasted, it looked amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic food, chill atmosphere, attentive staff and this has to be the best gluten free menu I've seen in South Wales. As someone who can often be stressed about gluten when eating out, to have a separate menu and the fact the food was gluten free confirmed at every step really put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my meal.

What a delightful restaurant and on our doorstep. Not been there before but booked with little issues on their website at short notice and on a Sunday. Sat on the terrace was a delight on such a sunny day. Serve was brilliant and they went over and beyond. Dined with a friend with too many food allergies to count. They went out to try and purchase salad to accommodate her. Food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended a visit

Starters were ok (calamari and kids garlic bread) but main courses were dry (steak and ale pie and kids chicken strips) or undercooked with hardly any sauce (gf carbonara) I know posts is supposed to be al denta but this was practically crunchy. Service was slow, 15 minutes from arriving before a drinks order was taken and then they sat on the bar for 10 mins after being poured. Of all the staff there not one asked how our meal was. It was lovely we could take the dog into the bar with us, but unfortunately we won't be rushing back. Overall disappointed.

We came for lunch.. First step in and the atmosphere is amazing. You feel welcome warm and cozy. The menu is vast with so many choices to cater for all budgets. The child menus is good and much more variety than most places with the added bonus of set price for 2 or 3 courses and a junior menu for older children. The platter in the picture tasted soooooo good. Everything had perfectly balanced flavours and was delicious. Mains were generous portions and delicious. The only downfall is we were too full to try pudding :) We plan on coming back soon as there were cocktails being ordered at other tables and if they are as good as the food, that would be a perfect evening.
