Extremely rude - entitled owner. The owner/lady is very rude. Very harsh. She comes across like a selfish person and I could tell the employees are not treated well in her kitchen by her working style/management style. She is very ungrateful. The food is satisfactory, the building is satisfactory. The lady is unsatisfactory unfortunately. This comment was satisfactory.

This is a lovely deli with a wide selection of eat in or take out options. It gets busy and this showed a little in the service, which was a little patchy and disorganised. The food eventually came out hot and delicious and all of us found the environment very relaxing. Recommended for an unhurried breakfast or brunch with a book or newspaper.

My family and I came to this deli for brunch today, unfortunately we will not return. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, disappointment was the highlight. Upon arriving I let the male waiter know we had a reservation for 5, he politely took us to the table and just as we were to sit, a female waiter then told us we cannot sit there, but had to sit at another, smaller table which had 1 chair short for the party size we were. Finally being allowed to sit at the original table the waiter seemed frustrated and unable to cope. After about 10 minutes the same female waiter took our drinks order. At this time we asked her about the gluten free options which she pointed out on the menu. I wasn't sure about the contamination of gluten free and have to be absolutely sure so I went to ask the waitress if the items were indeed prepared on separate surfaces and gluten free. The way in which she replied to me was extremely rude and un called for. The waitress advised that "of course, if we say it's gluten free, then it is. Coffee is gluten free, our bacon is gluten free, jam is gluten free." As this waitress went on to argue and even confront me as if my intolerance were a frustration I settled it and advised her it's ok. When returning to the table, our order was taken. My mother who is vegan, tried to order and this same waitress interrupted her 5 times, as if to try and have her order faster. Furthermore, before we had finished our order she walked away from the table. When food finally arrived, after around 50 minutes, my omelette was dripping in oil. My brothers bacon was rock solid and massively over done and my mother couldn't cut her bread. We were told when checking on the status of our food, it had got forgotten in the lift. Due to the ongoing issues we had we did not want to complain as this waitress was increasingly rude and we felt very close to walk out. Afyer deciding to stay, I ended up soaking up the oil from my omelette with a serviette! When going to pay, my mother advised the waitress of the problems but instead of apologizing she in return advised that I seemed to think I was too good for the restaurant! I could not believe it. The owners of this very quaint deli, need to make some staff changes. This is not on and not how you treat paying customers. Not only will I not return, I will not exactly recommend at all.

My husband and I had a three course Christmas dinner in Foxy's Deli today. The meal was delicious and it was excellent value. We really enjoyed our time there. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff!

Great food, HUGE portions (I had to take some home with me and I am really greedy) and absolutely lovely staff. Quick and cheery service. We love it here - it's really chatty and nice, and you can also order home-cooked meals to have at home. I can thoroughly recommend the coffee and walnut cake. I have just ordered two!

A delicatessen and cafe with a homely feel. Dog friendly, art displays of local artists, friendly service and time for a chat. A good selection of breads, cheeses, deli counter, breakfast, lunches and high teas. Always a warm welcome. Also a nice venue for small events. Here is an open Mic event.
