“Booked last minute for an early table on new years eve, before a visit to the glee club in Cardiff - all I can say is WOW the food is incredible!!! first time here but def wont be the last, the BEST tsatsiki ive ever had in the uk - everything was tasty & very well presented - we were even given complimentary baklava which was also delicious! We will definitely return :)”
“The bartender Eilir was amazing! We sat at the bar and we made up cocktails all night long, he handcrafted to our specifications. Would try again - amazing cocktails”
“I would recommend Windsor Tea Rooms in Penarth. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The seating outside is dog-friendly. The food is lovely and a traditional home-style. We often pop into Windsor tea rooms after our weekend shopping in Penarth.”
“Came in with a few of my friends this past weekend, really great vibe and energy here. We made the most of the two cocktails for £14 and had a couple of cocktails, Pina Coladas, Lemon Sours, Hugo Spritz and two Brambles, which are pictured. They all tasted great and were made at the bar just in front of us so we could see the making process. We shared a few sides off the menu, the truffle fries and tenderstem broccoli between us, which also came out quickly, they were really nice and would order again. One of the waitresses was kind enough to take our picture there, 10/10 would return again for a proper sit down meal.”
“Thank you for such a delicious meal for my birthday today. Freshly cooked piping hot delicious flavoured food. Staff were amazing too. First visit but definitely not the last. Thank you”
“Booked for lunch. My wife had Spanish meatballs followed by halibut while I had salad, from the salad bar, followed by the home made beef pie. These were the 2 course lunch specials at £24 each. Both were delicious: the pie especially, with very tender meat, rich gravy and a light flakey crust (no pastry shell). Plus 2 drinks each and two coffees. Total cost £65. Excellent value, and excellent service. Highly recommended.”
“One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Every dish was immaculate and both the service and atmosphere were amazing.”
“Amazing food for a decent price. Best of all it’s next to the park! Enjoy a pint while the kids are playing! The corned beef pie was awesome.”
“No rating for rooms as we just went in for breakfast/brunch. Great service, lovely Welsh breakfast. Sensibly priced, happy to recommend.”
“Had a lovely brunch here a few weeks ago. Had a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. We came along quite close to closing time. They served us with quick service and were very friendly.”
“Came here today as a Christmas present for afternoon tea waited 10 mins and no one came over had to go up ask to order drinks, hot drinks came but was luke warm. Food came and started eating and after eating the fruit noticed the raspberries was full of mould. My daughter was then sick in the toilet which I explained to waitress and not even offered a glass of water or nothing had to ask for it, really disappointed as I was looking forward to it and staff really not even bothered by it just on there phone constantly 7-1 update Went back a week later as manager rang straight away to apologise and offered another another tea for free and full refund and what a difference our second visit was. Amazing food and even the service was outstanding lovely gentleman that serviced us. Food was delicious and all left feeling very full. Would recommend”

“There’s nothing that gets the heart racing on this industrial estate quite like the sacred beep beep of Denise’s delivery food van. It’s our Pavlovian bell, summoning us from forklifts and spreadsheets alike. But it’s not just any beep. It’s the glorious trumpet that heralds the arrival of Steve, the man, the myth, the wrap wrangling legend. Steve doesn’t just bring food, he brings hope. An excellent selection of hot food and snacks that somehow taste even better when consumed while leaning against a skip in hi-vis. Whether it’s a bacon bap that could raise the dead or a hot wrap that hits the spot... Denise’s van is the spiritual centre of this estate. God bless the beep. God bless Steve. And God bless those snacks.”

“A great place to experience homemade, traditional African food. We had chicken wings, jollof rice with fried beef and the X Large grilled fish. All were fantastic but the fish was definitely the highlight.”
“A delicatessen and cafe with a homely feel. Dog friendly, art displays of local artists, friendly service and time for a chat. A good selection of breads, cheeses, deli counter, breakfast, lunches and high teas. Always a warm welcome. Also a nice venue for small events. Here is an open Mic event.”
“We had amazing evening with delicious spanish tapas meal and wine. Restaurant has very impressing atmosphere and overlooking port. Waiters were very kind and friendly and look after you all the time. If you looking for nice place to go in Penarth go and experience yourself. You will not regret it.”
“I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Courts in Cardiff. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. The food was nothing short of exceptional – every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. You can really taste the freshness and care put into each plate. A special mention must go to the Head Chef, whose creativity and passion shine through every dish. The team deserves the highest praise – friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making the evening unforgettable. Courts is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, impeccable service, and a unique atmosphere in Cardiff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“We didn’t eat in the restaurant however we stayed in one of the pods and they were gorgeous! such lovely little rooms with everything you need, a massive double bed, a nice shower and a smart TV. It was worth every penny and we will be back again!”
“Great staff and great surroundings. Ideal for a coffee and cake or a meal. Situated just at the top of the hill if your walking from the seafront. Borders onto the children's play park for added convenience.”
