   Just visited this place once whilst in Barry the waitress can't fault her very attentive the other 2 blokes paid no attention to me what so ever felt like an outsider didn't once check in or make me feel welcome but the waitress could teach them a thing or two but never again. Will visit

   Enjoyed dinner with my girlfriend, satisfying meals: Seafood Linguine and Wholetail Scampi. Friendly staff, music was a bit loud but they quietened it for us. Latest menu uploaded. Good selection of drinks. Recommended.

   I’d seriously give 100 stars to the lady at the counter who might just remember us four girls who took over the pub for an afternoon of fun. The food hit the spot and the service was top-tier. What a great day in Barry Island!

   The pub next door has lovely food, the chip shop on the left has gone completely down hill, not sure how it’s acceptable to sell and serve re fried chips - I should’ve checked the reviews. The food was appalling and inedible. SEVERELY inedible covered in grease especially the fish! Sickening as this chip shop used to be lovely and always fresh now it’s completely downhill and would not recommend to anyone I have never seen chip shops serve food like this ever in my life. Disgusting

   Overall disappointing. What type of bar doesn’t have whiskey and has bottles of wine they are not “allowed” to open. We had the battered cod and chips, yes the fish was big however the chips looked like yesterday’s leftovers. There is a sign saying “cash is preferred “ which is fine by me, but then change was not readily available. Maybe summer time is better.

   I ordered a cocktail and drank a little there was no alcohol in it, my guess its sunk to the bottom. I drink a little more and return to the bar. They top it up with a little cider I get to the bottom expecting a strong flavour and just have a juice flavour. I don't normally leave 1 star reviews I, give the place a chance to rectify they didn't.
