Good selection of Indian food, the curry tastes really good. Vegetarian friendly but the dining area could get quite smoky with all the barbecue-like dishes being served.
Always use the Bayleaf most weeks for eat in /collection, never had a bad experience! Tonight decided to try elsewhere as we needed delivery and it was dreadful despite having good reviews. Made me realise just how good the Bayleaf is! You won't beat it!
Lovely, family vibes restaurant in Llandaff and Without a doubt the best Indian in Cardiff. The portions are big and delicious, the service is friendly and has a nice atmosphere. The only negative id say it can be a bit hectic sometimes since it’s a small restaurant and usually fully booked. However give it a try it’s worth it

The food here was delicious! Service was fast and the staff are very friendly, I had the chicken kufti to start which was amazing, then chicken tikka masala with a naan bread for main. I couldn’t recommend it enough! The place itself is fairly small so would recommend booking in advance via their website or by ringing ahead. You can also get takeaway and it was very busy which must be a good sign!

Best restaurant in Cardiff by far. Food and Service in this place is top. You can tell why this restaurant is so busy. Lots of variety of special currys and top atmosphere at the place even on Tuesday.
The food is excellent but for some reason, the staff insist on cleaning whilst you're still eating. This has now happened three times. The first time was lunchtime when they decided to clean the wall lights. Then, on two occasions (an hour before closing), they were sweeping and mopping the floor whilst still eating. There was also no choice to have deserts or coffee as the bill was presented without requesting it.
One of the best restaurants in Cardiff. I ordered the chicken shashlik and it really was the best I've ever had. And I've had a few! Good value too, around 25 per head with drinks. I cannot fault this superb restaurant.
Had a takeaway, which was cold to start. The Captain Palitha curry sauce was very watery and tasteless ( think they forgot to put any spices in it). Will not be using that place for a takeaway again. It did use to be one of the best Indians around, don’t know what’s happened to it now.
