Good food but bad portions on some items on the menu, would go again but could improve portions. Great staff
Food tasted nice but the salt and pepper chicken portion was tiny! There was only 6 small pieces of chicken in it I've never had such a small portion from anywhere else the container was only half full but mainly onions. The salt and pepper chips also had no chilli's or peppers or anything, They literally just had salt and pepper. Otherwise the food tasted nice but lost 2 stars for the reasons mentioned
Very disappointing meal, Special Chow Mein should be called Mushroom Chow Mein, why so many large chunks of mushrooms? I am a keen cook, I cook pretty good Asian food but normally I find a good old fashioned Chinese takeaway unbeatable. Sadly this was not as good as I could make for home at a fraction of the cost. I remember having a nice meal from here a couple of years ago, I think they must have changed the chef.
Always gone here for a chinese - but won't be going back until they sort the food out - tasteless. Worst Chinese Ive ever had. Don't know what's changed there but it isn't good for the future unfortunately. I am a huge advocate of local business in Pontcanna too.
Visited Cardiff for the rugby international. Discovered this takeaway by chance as it is a couple of doors down fron the Halfway pub. The food was possibly the best Chinese takeaeay food I have ever tasted. Only four star rating as no free prawn crackers

3 pieces of chicken in my curry chips was like rubber curry was like wallpaper paste never again
Friendly staff on phone and collection and they take Visa The food was good except the bbq sauce was slug killingly salty and pre-done prawn crackers cold.... that cost them a star! Pancake roll (large') seemed fresh and homemade. I'd go again, one of the better ones in the area.
Love the Bamboo Garden, really tasty food, wide selection of dishes on the menu, great portion sizes and good value. Whilst it's out of my way, it's well worth the trip
