I ordered a chicken jalfrezi, a lamb vindaloo, onion bhajis, garlic and chilli naans and chips. I received a chicken vindaloo which was incorrect and I had paid more for lamb. The curry sauces were very tasty, but the chicken was incredibly tough. The bhajis weren't that crispy and the chips were barely cooked. The naan breads were delicious.

Delivery arrived on the dot, excellent polite service, the chicken portions are absolutely huge, came with free mint sauce and poppadoms, food piping hot, A star for this new restaurant :)

The food was fresh, piping hot, and bursting with authentic flavors. Every dish was perfectly cooked – the curries were rich and aromatic, the spices beautifully balanced, and the naan bread was soft and fluffy. The portion sizes were generous and great value for money. The Murgi Garlic Chili is to die for and my personal favourite… Dansak was mouth watering. On top of that, the service was excellent – friendly, prompt, and everything arrived exactly as ordered. It’s clear a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the customer experience. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon – easily one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve had in a long time!

Tarana Newport Gwent...Chicken madras...was like water on my plate, very little spice more like medium curry, a no effort curry, it was just like a base curry sauce with very little spice, keema nan was disappointing as the keema meat was practically non existent, also had a chicken bhuna & again a very boring watery curry compared to where we normally go but thought we would try...not for us. Ps...We have tried most Indian takeaways in & around Newport.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve just had the most amazing meal at Tarana Newport – my second day in a row, because I simply can’t stay away! The food is absolutely lovely, and I’m already hooked. The interior is spotless and stunning, it feels like dining somewhere in London or even Dubai. Truly a fantastic experience.

Food was nice when it came hour and half later. Too late to eat and struggled for staff

This is the worse meal I have ever had !! I have used you for years !! most weekends I have spent over £25. With you ! I complained and was offered 10% discount absolute joke ! If this is not sorted with the manager I will be very disappointed and will be using a different take away and you know there are plenty out there. As I can see loyalty goes know were !!
