“A really friendly Italian cafe owned by a lovely Sicilian man. Locals use it regularly. It also sells Italian items like pasta, tinned tomatoes and coffee beans. The menu has a good selection of food and drink items. There's not much parking space on the street but spaces may be available in the surrounding area.”

“Went here for brunch date with the hubby at 11am. They gave us both the breakfast and lunch menus to choose from. We chose sandwiches from the lunch menu and soup of the day which was honestly so good! Price is very good. We had an amazing experience.”

“Chicken Tikka Karahi was authentic. The chicken was well marinated meaning the flavours went inside the good quality meat and as a result it was very tender and moist. The spices were on point. The bindi was fresh and well cooked with onions, tomatoes and spices, so the vegetable was the right consistency, tender but not slimy. The rice was fluffy and delicate and the paratha mopped up the flavours. No alcohol which makes for a pleasant atmosphere although they will serve your own if you bring it, with no corkage charge. Highly recommend,”

“Had a 17 ppl party and they managed well I was sat next to 40 biker table they were loud but were a good neighboring table very polite. Staff were flat out trying to serve Food came in good time. Good room temperature but got hot quick due to lots of people there. Overall good experience Our waiter was polite the guy with beard very friendly. Definitely will visit again. Hopefully after Christmas when it gets more quite. Thank you guys Keep it up.”

“"Bungee Gum has the properties of both rubber and gum", had been mentioned several times throughout Hunter x Hunter. It is almost uncomfortable if it was not mentioned by a character named Hisoka. This level of comfort is what I expect from Wagamama and they nail it, it's not surprising but you expect it when you get there. Like Bambi's mum dying, "oh wow, there it is, she's dead..." just predictable. Nothing wrong with it, just predictable great service and comfort safe food in my opinion.”

“Fabulous food. The quality and the taste of the food was excellent. We tried some dishes that we have not had in other Indian restaurants, (Lamb Jamdhani & Korai Kebab Kyberi) we were amazed. Staff are very welcoming and managed to squeeze us in at short notice.”

“A big hotel with a welcoming lounge, large bedrooms, very impressed with room we stayed in. Comfy Queen size bed. Sofa. Clean bathroom and shower.very quiet too. A huge choice for Breakfast , continental or cooked.£12 taxi to train station.”

“Went here for "Chicken Tuesday" recently and had a lovely meal. Fresh hot food and attentive staff. Worth saying they had the worlds most awkward table of customers near to us and handled the situation very well considering how rude and obnoxious the couples son was. It's a shame there's not a better cider selection or anything on tap but no complaints apart from that. Will definitely visit again ☺️”

“Really nice five guys restaurant which is located on a really good strip. Newport road is in the heart of Cardiff and has a range of fantastic shops and restaurants. It had a good service here where staff were helpful and you could see that they were very hard working. It was very quiet on Sunday evening around 6.00 o'clock when I visited. The food was prepared and handed to us in a good time which meant we weren't waiting long. The food was incredible as usual. The drinks machine and condiment area are to the right of the store and the toilets through the doors to the left of the store. The floor was a little slippery however that's the same in the other two five guys I have ever been to. Please be mindful of this especially going to the bathroom. The store accepted cards and cash. The car park was medium sized to the left of the building. The atmosphere was very quiet but that was due to it being not very busy during the time of visit. Overall it was a pleasant visit, good store, nice staff, good service and great tasting food.”

“It’s a very convenient solution for accommodation. Very clean in the room and also the kitchen which is very big. Use the parking area of ASDA which is only 5 min walking. The staff was also friendly. If you visit Cardiff, %100 recommend this place. Suitable for couples as well. No issue.”

“My first ever visit to a TGI Friday and I was rather impressed. The staff were friendly and management came out to assist with a specific dietary concern with my guest. The food was hot and beautiful, we even met Darth Vader in the reception entrance to the restaurant. The dips are fantastic, the burger very juicy and super tasty. A definite 10/10 and look forward to returning. By the time we left the restaurant it was buzzing with nearly all tables full. A very popular restaurant in Cardiff. Many Thanks TGI Fridays even on a Monday night.”

I'm a wheelchair user, and they always accommodate me and take us to a table where I can just wheel up and stay in my chair.
