“WOW...what can I say about RUAS. Very Professional in their approach to Flight Training..The online Learning package is very thorough but easy to follow in steps.its set at a good pace, alot to take in at first, but RUAS are Always on hand for advice. The whole team I cannot fault tbh, and the training/ practical day we had at Coleg Sir Gar Campus near Carmarthen was again well run and all helpful input by RUAS staff. If your looking for advice or any training, look up these guys, based near Newport. I went from a complete Novice, to fully trained in the use of UAVs with RUAS. Keep up the Fab work.”

“What a fabulous find!! We were staying in Newport just for one night and were so glad for New Ole! We love tapas and this was excellent! The choices looks so delicious and the welcome was so welcome - we decided to leave it all up to the incredible chef! He did not disappoint!! We were spoilt the whole evening by our gorgeous waitress and enjoyed delicious food and wine. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!”

“The Arcadia Coffee House is one of a kind. They serve hot buttered crumpets, which not many cafes serve. The decor is fab and original and there is a great vibe. I love their lattes, which are served with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows. Their lemon cake is to die for! Tangy, moist and delicious. Need I say more? The Arcadia is situated at the forefront of Newport Arcade, and once you have have finished your latte, there are a myriad of little shops for you to visit there - each with their their own quirky style. You are bound to find something you like. Visit The Arcadia Coffee House and the Arcade itself and you will not be disappointed.”

“Lovely food, fantastic staff the owner is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. Had 2 rolls one bbq beef, cheese with peppercorn sauce and other garlic beef, cheese and peppercorn sauce was well worth the money. I think they was £6.50 each and 2 cans drink come to around £15”

“First time visiting Bragu Cafe. Ordered the maxi breakfast, kids breakfast, English tea & a Nutella hot chocolate. Food was delicious, especially the spicy sausage & chicken bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection & I'm very particular about how my food's cooked. Modern clean interior, reasonably priced food & drink and good customer service. Will definitely be back!”

“You won't find a better place to eat in Newport. It's a little piece of heaven for cheese lovers, not a massive choice of menu. But this is where the old adage of quality and not quantity comes to mind, simple, effective and definitely delicious. The two lovely people (Vern and Emily) who run Holy Cheesus are friendly, polite and always have time to chat with the customers. It's our families favourite place to stop in and get a fix of toasted cheese sandwiches. 10/10”

“After a long camping trip in Wales, we stopped in Newport before heading back home. We randomly parked in front of a restaurant that caught our attention as we had never tried Yemeni food before. It was our first time trying it, and we can confidently say it won't be the last. The man serving our table was incredibly friendly and approachable, and the food was simply amazing. As a starter, he brought us a delicious lamb soup before our actual order, which was packed with flavour. Moreover, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were excelent. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, and it will definitely be our go-to spot every time we travel to Wales.”

“We visited Vittorios on a Tuesday evening. Lovely atmosphere, with family celebrations taking place and other groups of people. So despite being early on in the week, and not a weekend, it was still busy, demonstrating it is a firm favourite amongst customers. The staff were, I’m assuming family, and you could get that family run vibe whilst there, which added to the positive experience we had. Staff were attentive, whilst Also giving space and privacy to enjoy our food. Earlier the previous week, unbeknown to me my husband had spoken with Vittorios to arrange a ‘quiet area’ to sit down, so that he could propose to me to renew our wedding vows. We were placed in a quieter area, and my husbands request was managed discreetly without me catching on. Our wine was being brought to our table mid proposal and the young lad bringing it completed a 180 degree turn so fast to give us the space and privacy during the special moment. I couldn’t fault him for this and was impressed by the service we received. They congratulated us afterwards and gave us a complimentary celebratory dessert which was unexpected, but a really lovely touch. All food was hot, delicious and there were large portions. This restaurant is a local gem in Newport, and we are very grateful to have a created a treasured memory during our visit there. 10/10 service, food, and value for money. “This place recently undertook new management , and I went in with my family. We ordered roughly £50 worth of food, and it was absolutely worth every penny. I must say, the garlic naan is astonishing I would highly recommend it. The young man at the front was very welcoming and friendly. The place is full of good vibes, and I’m definitely coming back soon.”

“Excellent pizza. By far the best pizza I’ve had in Newport. You can judge a pizzeria by how good it’s margarita is and this surpassed any expectations! Large enough to feed a couple, tasty enough to have to yourself. The herb fries were a surprise joy and would highly recommend as a side. Perfect take away.”
