   What a truly amazing experience. From the food to the service everything was incredible. Normally you never see the chef in any restaurant! Chef was coming out, talking to guests and you could see the passion and love that had gone into every dish. What a true hidden gem!    What a fantastic find. Anton and Fay were incredibly welcoming, taking the time to walk us through the menu. The food was delicious—authentic Spanish tapas that I wish I’d discovered years ago. I’ll definitely be back with family and my best friend, who’s just as obsessed with tapas as I am. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

   What a fabulous find!! We were staying in Newport just for one night and were so glad for New Ole! We love tapas and this was excellent! The choices looks so delicious and the welcome was so welcome - we decided to leave it all up to the incredible chef! He did not disappoint!! We were spoilt the whole evening by our gorgeous waitress and enjoyed delicious food and wine. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!

   We finished our 10 week U3A Spanish Beginners class with a meal at New Olé. We left Cardiff Road, in Newport, and stepped into an oasis of Spain. Sitting on a terrace at the rear of the restaurant. We had a delicious three course tapas selection, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Very generous portions. Too much to eat and we all left with doggie bags. Anton, the chef/owner, is from Galicia in Northern Spain and he spent time with us to teach us about his homeland. We spoke in Spanish and even learnt a little Gallego, the language of Galicia. As we left, it was like saying goodbye to old friends. We were made so welcome by Anton and Fay. We will all be returning again individually and hopefully together as a group at Christmas. A highly recommended restaurant.

   This restaurant is fantastic! Anton has years of experience cooking exceptional recipes passed down for generations. Each bite will leave you wanting more. But be sure to save room for pudding! Great ambiance, and the host is very personable because of the cozy environment of the restaurant. In the summertime, they also have a garden to dine in! Incredible dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

   What a wonderful find! A lovely intimate place with beautiful food, cooked by Anton. Genuine tapas is hard to find here but Anton being Spanish has succeeded. We were greeted by Fay who was very warm and chatty and made us feel very welcome. It's so rare to find a place these days, that a) has fantastic food, b) has lovely staff and c) you want to return to. This place has all of these things. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely experience!! O and the Sangria was excellent!!

   Came to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The chef and host were so lovely and the food was very authentic and full of flavour. Ordered about 5 dishes and the total came to £30! Will definitely be coming back.
