There was no more physical space in our stomachs. We tried everything from the Christmas Menu except "Pastrama de oaie." I came back on 26th to try it, but the shop was closed. Overall, I highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful surprise for two tourists like us. Cozy location in the centre of Newport (next to our Mercure Hotel). Delicious and authentic Romanian food. The host offered to prepare a mixed grill plate for two that was absolutely to die for. The soups (tripe and meat balls) were so fresh and cooked to perfection. Our drinks were traditional Romanian ones: rachiu (plum brandy), vișinată (sour cherry brandy) and red wine that smelled so good it made you feel like you were in the middle of the winery, tasting the actual grapes. Everything was great! Many thanks to the chef and the host (who is also a guy with a great sense of humour).

Timing of visit: Saturday 28/01/2023, 16:30-17:50. Order: Meatballs soup and stuffed cabbage with polenta. Price: £22.00. Method of payment: Debit card. Quality of food: My stepmom is from Moldova and leaves in Athens with my dad. The food landed me virtually in Athens International Airport "Ελεύθεριος Βενιζέλος". The food was so so good like the food I enjoy at home in my annual leave. I give the score 7* (this makes sense to my British friends). Customer Service: Excellent (5/5). The waiter was very polite and sociable. Atmosphere: Relaxing. If you have free time, you don't want to get up after your last mouthful (5/5).

Went there for the first time today and found it to be very pleasant, its a family owned café and the owner was very polite, I ordered a Greek salad and it was healthy and delicious , the owner then informed me there were more vegetarian options if I'm vegetarian, I can't fault the service as it was exceptional I'll definitely go there again, newport needs more places like this !!
