   Good local pub serving well cooked and presented local produce. The servers could benefit from knowing the ingredients in the menu but were very kind considering their workload. I was disappointed with the Eton Mess but other desserts were lovely.

   Fabulous place. It ticked all our varied boxes we had a meat eater, a vegetarian and a vegan. Why there was even a vegan dessert which rarely appears (except for sorbet) unless I am in a dedicated vegan restaurant. I had a lovely brownie with ice cream. The staff are really helpful, professional and friendly. It has old world country pub charm, a log fire and allows dogs. I can’t think of anything negative to say about. Well done. We’ll be back!

   Best Sunday dinner that we’ve eaten at a pub/ restaurant in a long time. Food was high quality and beautifully cooked. Two of our party are chefs so they know what they’re talking about! Will definitely return. Only niggle was we couldn’t park in the car park as it was a busy Sunday lunchtime

   We enjoyed an excellent meal here in the Lounge to celebrate my birthday early on a Saturday evening. It was great to have background music at just the right volume, so create a nice atmosphere without being too loud. The atmosphere and service were very good, and we can heartily recommend the Welsh Lamb Rump.

   The service and ambience was lovely. The food was delicious. It would be nice to have some traditional pub meals on the menu such as steak and ale pie, lasagne or veggie curry. Overall we had a fabulous meal.

   Hard to find fault with this classy little pub. Definitely the best Sunday roast I've had since moving to Cardiff, lovely staff, smart decor, and what looks to be a nice garden space, though I've never tried it. Perhaps they could offer a wider range of wines, but that's just splitting hairs.
