beautfiul rustic interior with really friendly staff and very clean space. the food was reasonably priced and very delicious.
We bought food from this place a few months ago and we were all impressed so decided to go again. We were not disappointed!!! I had the King Prawn curry and I was one of the best I've tasted tbh. The food was hot and the portion side was just right. The owner was very friendly and one could see they took pride in making the best food they could. Will defo be using again next time we visit mum that's for sure. It's also open on a Sunday so that's an added bonus!!!
Had nr 6, Satey and nr 92 the deep fried King prawns in salt & pepper. Everything came in decent plastic containers. Delivery was fast, and the lady was friendly. The satey, mwah. It's breaded satay. Spicy, yes, but breaded should be crispy. Which it isn't. There's pineapple in it. Not much and canned sweet pineapple. Some small slices of cucumber. Would not order this item again. The prawns were okay. It's not really crispy, but that could be due to the transportation in the container. Definitely salt and pepper. The spicy flavour is good but a bit too much salt. This dish comes with some vegetables. If ever, I would choose the prawns again. Just an honest opinion of a non local.

Been going to this Chinese for years when I lived in thurmaston, when in Leicester I still go to this Chinese, staff are friendly and always had a good meal from here. Fully recommend it.
I have nothing but the best review for this place, based on my experience. I've ordered a few times, staff are really patient and help recommend dishes on what your taste it, regarding spices etc, that helps a lot. The prawn crackers are by far the best I've ever had from any other Chinese place. Super friendly delivery service. Highly recommend. Super hot 9n delivery, very very tasty food.

We often order from Thurmaston House, always great food and good service. Only felt we needed to review this time as we spent £17.40 and didn’t get the ‘free’ prawn crackers we usually get. Don’t know if that was down to getting a dodgy delivery driver that helped himself or whether the takeaway just stopped providing one of the perks we loved. Will think twice before ordering again as we have other options available locally. Shame xx
