   First visit to Wildwood and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed warmly and the service throughout as brilliant. I could not fault the food in any way, both taste and quantity. What made it all the better was the cost. I have paid more and received poorer food in the past. Will 100% be going again.

   Busy due to Christmas parties so getting drinks was slow. Food was good and the service was excellent. Looked after really well with free shots and discount voucher at the end which was generous and will visit again in the new year.

   We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. Our server, Yolanda, was incredibly kind and attentive — she made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be coming back!

   Food: 3 - Food is okay: + 3 - Presentation of food we received: 0 Service: 0 - We ordered pizza and it arrived on a plate that appeared to be wooden but it was plastic and had loads of scratches on them which could lead to faster microplastics deterioration in food. I can see from others posting, they are served on a ceramic plate, not sure why they don't keep it consistent. - One of the gents waiter wears too much perfume while carrying cleaning products and spraying next to us while we are eating which ruins the atmosphere of enjoying food in neutral place. Atmosphere: 2 - The atmosphere is welcoming: + 1 - It's positioned in the heart of Taunton and close to carpark: +1

   Really enjoyed a first time out in this place in Taunton. Impressed by the venue and layout. Went there with work mates and also three reps from a supplier based in Glasgow, who has come down for meeting and overnight stay in area. Great food and service and will return. Definitely

   I ate lunch here today. Amazing food. Wonderful service. Friendly staff. A varied menu... something to please everyone. There is an option of a 2 course lunch menu for £11.95 or a 3 course for £14.95. Well worth the money!

   I rarely give five stars, but my food here two nights ago was amazingly delicious and generous. I don't know if their Italian food is any good, but the " International" menu was excellent. I was desperate for a substantial meal after visiting the nearby Snap Fitness Gym, and had had a good meal of grilled salmon in this grand, restored building a few nights before-- it sits brazenly at one end of North Street, and there are plenty of windows with a view. I gave the patient waitress a hard time, asking for changes to the side dishes with the grilled chicken -- I'm not a fan of boring salad and chips at dinner time. Lo and behold, she provided a plate 15 minutes later with five huge pieces of charcoal- grilled chicken accompanied by beautifully cooked French beans, steamed broccoli and diced fried potato. I was in my veggie heaven, and all the chicken was meltingly tender, with the exotic combined taste of smoke and charred flesh. And sitting on a perfect, home-made tomato sauce. I smiled, while thinking of the Spanish Inquisition... Despite my poor old chicken being flattened by a steamroller some time late in its life, I can't wait to go back for more.

3. Small Cabbage ★★★★☆

   I ate here twice in a week which says it all! Both times I had the delicious cobb salad but clearly they were running out of ingredients on my second visit which was a Sunday rather than my mid week visit. Lovely food and prompt service, my only gripe is the added service charge. I am happy to tip but would rather do it on my terms (I am aware it can be removed on asking).
