I live in Cawston and haven't used Happy valley since covid started as I ordered food there that time which tested off then resulted in food poisoning after. I decided to try them today a few years later and cannot be even more disappointed. I ordered my food about 5pm and they confirmed all will be fresh even though was the beginning of the evening. My egg fried rice tasted refried, as if they had grozen it from the previous night. Crispy squid was chewy as hell and the batter wasn't crispy, it just smothered off as you bit into it. The "special" mixed meat curry was even more disappointing. The chicken looked like it was prepared from shop bought frozen slices and had that off taste. The extra meats were chewy which confirmed nothing was fresh at all. For the price, I horribly did not enjoy this at all and never going back. They obviously do not appreciate their local custom and are willing to give the food poisoning for the sake of a quick buck. This place is ridiculous, avoid at all costs!

Using Happy Valley for the first time in about 5 years. The food very poor. The £10 mixed starter was rubbish and very small. Three different dishes which are normally very different all had some sort of vinegary watered down sweet and sour sauce. The chow mein was very bland. I will not be returning.

I used Happy Valley for the first time in a long time on Saturday night but never again. I was looking forward to a nice Chinese whilst I watched the Rugby so I ordered a mixed vegetables with bean card in sweet and sour sauce and rice and a seafood and noodles for my partner. However, on arriving home I found there was no rice along with hardly any vegetables and though I'd only travelled a matter of a few minutes the bean card was cold. I ended up cooking my own vegetables and rice before heating up the beancurd. An absolute waste of money.

Went here as a one off recently and although everything was perfectly edible it just wasn’t to my liking unfortunately. I must admit I am overly fussy at times so it’s more than likely just down to that. I will say though that I’m a fan of them using both white and dark meat in the chicken dishes we had.

We have used this Chinese take away several times. The food is always gorgeous, the portions are very generous and they always arrive earlier than expected. Great service. Highly recommended.
