Been a regular customers for years, one of the best Chinese takeaways in Cardiff in terms of taste. Delivery times however do need to improve, often have to call the restaurant multiple times. Collect if possible.
Really rich food. Very good menu. Quiet, and a little uncomfortable to eat at. Not much of an atmosphere. But if you love rich Chinese food, this is one of the best on Whitchurch Road.
Had food in the restaurant. The atmosphere and service was odd. Staff were cold and frosty, but the quality of the food was ok. Limited menu.
Lovely Chinese restaurant with friendly and accommodating staff. Came to about £20 for 2 mains and 2 sides. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
Was a little hesitant to go due to a recent few bad reviews but it was fantastic. The food was great quality with large portions. We spent 2.5 hours there in a great atmosphere sampling lots of different meals on the buffet menu. Surprisingly the drinks were also a very reasonable price.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Cardiff . All you can eat buffet from the menu for about 21 pound absolute bargain . Choice of about 80 meals Done here regularly with friends . Good tasty fresh food . Highly recommend
Food still very good but price has gone up and the selection decreased, no duck on menu anymore. Service present but a bit inattentive especially as we were only dine in guests. Clean but looking tired and dated, in need of a coat of paint
Very basic restaurant with a few tables so would need to book in advance. It is an all you can eat menu costing £18.50 per person. The food is excellent cooked fresh and piping hot. Plenty of choices of starters and main meals. The one downside is the service considering we were the only people in at the time 6pm we continually had to try and catch his attention every time we wanted to re-order food and to ask for the empty plates to be removed.We were a table of 8 persons and whenever he brought over new food never cleared the old plates away. We all felt he only wanted to do the minimum he had to and didn't seem interested in giving us the attention and service that would make us want to return.
Oh my gosh.....I was serving our meal from Great China tonight, and hit something hard in the curry. Guess what it was......a sink plug! A dirty one! You would think when I called them to inform them that they would be apologetic. Terrible. They simply offered to bring me a replacement for that one dish when they had a free delivery man later! Or give me a refund for that one dish of the meal. After I told them how unclean and ridiculous this was, they offered to give me a whole replacement meal when the delivery man was back later! When I told them that I would not want a replacement meal as it had ruined our evening and put me off their food ( I had already waited an hour and a half for delivery!), I had to put my foot down to even get a refund for the whole meal. Ridiculous! Then they said that they could only drop the refund off when THEY were available, and we have to give them all other dishes back. He said a tiny quick sorry after the whole long chat! I (who can't drive) therefore had to get a lift to return the meal to get my money back. When I got there, they were hardly apologising at all. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!
Food was lovely and fresh. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Had a lovely family meal at Great China! Highly recommended
