We've been coming here for many years now, (I've even been given a nickname!) and we've never had an issue with the food or the service. The staff are always happy to see us, and we get the best welcome. They have given us recommendations for dishes to try, and we haven't been disappointed. I personally love the chicken curry and the chow main. The portions are very generous - one portion will serve 2 people. Prices are reasonable, but excellent value when you consider the quality of the food. Parking can sometimes be an issue atvthe front due to Uber Eats / Just Eat delivery drivers coming and going, but there is parking up the side street.

Absolutely disgusting ordered beef fried rice it tastes and smells like fish!!! Also ordered chips they were stale and cold not to mention they only took bank transfer!! Paid and the 2 woman tried saying they haven’t received it to get more money don’t recommend at all never going there again absolute joke

I've been living in Cardiff for nearly 4 years and buy a Chinese a few times a year. Each time i have ordered from a different place as none of them were great quality. But after ordering from here today, I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food. The food was fresh, hot hot (not even warm), the meat was great quality and the delivery was super speedy! This will now be my go to Chinese when I order again. You've gained a new loyal customer!!

This is the first time I've been to Good Fortune and I was pleasantly surprised. We had vegetarian spring rolls, seaweed, prawn crackers, chicken balls (they're about twice the size I was expecting!), chow mein, House special with Peking sauce (sauce was a little bit bland, but the meats were lovely), crispy chilli beef and roast pork in black bean sauce which was my favourite - the mushrooms that came with it were lush. I'll definitely be going back!

The worst Chinese I've had in my life. Satay sauce tasted strange, battered prawns were completely soggy, tofu was dry and overcooked, sweet and sour was sickly sweet. The dumplings were dry and bland - even the pre-made ones you can buy in the supermarket are much better and cheaper! Don't waste your money on this place!

This one is much more expensive than the other ones. The delivery man kept money for himself and didn’t give me the right amount deliberately.

Reheated chips with the chicken and omelette and 6 prawns in the prawn curry - say no more!!!! The prawn curry should have been called an onion curry!!! Because I had mine delivered to my hotel, they clearly feel that they can get away with delivering poor quality food and pathetic portions!
