Ordered food at 7pm for 8:30pm drop off. Food didn’t arrive until 10:30pm. Phoned a few times and was told 20 minutes, 20 minutes etc. No apology or compensation.
Love this Chinese and have been getting it for a long time. Staff are lovely and food is lovely too only reason for 4 stars is the chips aren’t great they come dried up and burnt like they have been reheated. Everything else is lovely tho.
Ordered a TAKEAWAY at 17.51 today and was told by a woman (.now i know there is always a little language barrier)who should never be on the phone taking orders as she could not understand me at all, also she had put me on loud speaker which didn't help after 3 attempts I got so fed up I hung up and called her back.I eventually got my order through to her and was told it will be with us in half an hour . After an hour still no delivery so I called back to be told it was sat waiting in the warm up box waiting to be collected!!! another woman got on the phone to say if I still wanted it... as it was still warm enough... to which I said no I wanted it hot she then said she would warm it up for me!!!! Unbelievable ,I said I wanted a new freshly cooked order thinking it would be on the next delivery after waiting an hour to be told it would be another hour...no apologies no offer of anything else..I have used this place for years and I am not sure it someone else owns it now but its safe to say I will not be using this place again.
Just had the worst food delivered from here, to be fair we have had many good meals but this was inedible. When I rang to complain I was told I was the only one and the kitchen needed the food back which is now in my food recycling bin! It was all well overcooked and dried out. Couldn’t even bite the satay chicken it was so tough and the chips looked like they had been cooked 5 times over! Crispy duck was cremated duck.

Got my sons order wrong, food was lukewarm, curry had to be spooned out of the carton, sweet and sour sauce was like treacle and to to top it off Ispent the early hours of the morning being sick and the rest of the day with diarrhea. I was the only one to have the prawns in batter, others had the sweet and sour chicken balls, it was my only meal that day so this has to be the reason. Food was terrible, owner didn't care less when we phoned and complained and told him to be aware that his prawns may be suspect. All in all would never recommend this take away to anyone and certainly won't be using them again.
Canton Chop Suey House, more like "was this food made in downtown Shanghai Chop Suey House". The food is succulent. The salt and pepper box did things do me that I haven't experienced since my 2008 Amsterdam trip! Prices are good, delivery is quick and customer service is always on point. Most importantly, there is a dreamy 5ft8 delivery driver. I've heard he goes by the name Teddie Erott, but I could be wrong! He has the most gorgeous green eyes, and gives top tier customer service to the people of Cardiff. If you are lucky to be served by this Godly young man, then make sure you give him a well deserved tip!
We are regular visitors to this particular takeaway, and have always been extremely pleased with the quality, quantity and services provided. Establishment has been fully covid compliant during our visits. Parking can be a bit tricky, however if you shop at the neighboring ALDI, picking up takeaway afterwards, parking is a lot easier.
