   Absolutely loved the experience food excellent, atmosphere fantastic and the staff welcoming and friendly!!! Only downfall meals were served at different times so we're the sides(9 of us), I finished my steak before my sides arrived.....not enough staff!!!

   We visited as a large group to celebrate a birthday, and both the food and service were fantastic. The staff did an excellent job serving all 13 of us efficiently, and everyone’s steaks were cooked perfectly. The house wine was great value too. When it came to settle at the end, the bill didn’t clearly list each item, which made it a bit awkward to work out what everyone owed. I’m worried that the extra tip each of us contributed, may have been accidentally absorbed into the remaining balance for the person who paid last. I think due to this, we didn’t leave anything for the wonderful service. This was totally our fault! We will make up for it when we return as we’ll definitely be back!

   Wanted a good steak grill restaurant so booked table for dinner at Black Salt for family. Located on busy Whitchurch road so parking is limited. The staff were friendly and welcoming, interior nice and comfortable. The menu consists of grilled steaks, chicken, burgers, fish. We ordered T Bone, ribeye steak and salmon. Kids portions are available on request. The steaks were big and delicious. The generous sides of chips and veg were good too, especially the battered cauliflower! Bill including drinks was around £75 which is very reasonable. Had a nice evening, service was great and we enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

   Had lunch here today and the food was absolutely fantastic. We haven't stopped talking about how amazing it was all the way home. Enjoyed by all as you can see in the photos. We will definitely be back and the owner and other waitress were so friendly and warm to the children.

   We went for birthday night for a friend of ours. Two couples what fantastic place to eat. Wonderful staff from bar staff to waitress that served our food . The food was done to perfection . We had lamb shank it just melted in your mouth . The veg was perfect too. Has for the price of the food fantastic we paid £65 for three course lunch for my wife and I had two course with drinks. Both chefs came out to speak to us lovely friendly even joking with us too. Has for the owner very attentive too our every need . They even brought out cake with candle on for the birthday girl Maria. All I can say is thank you for best night out in long while. Steven Marilyn.

   Driven past many times and thought, I'll go there, eventually made it. First impressions were good, well laid out restaurant and bar. Seating areas were individual tables and booths. The menu content was excellent, everything I would want to see, and more. The pricing actually seemed cheap. Food arrived, and the portions were big and well presented. This is a great value for money restaurant, we'll be back. Only downside, we were cold. I think they had an issue with the front door stuck slightly open.

   Driven past quite a few times and last night decided to call in for food and drinks. What can I say apart from WOW. Portion sizes are huge and the food was so fresh and tasty, everything we had was just perfect. The steak beat me in the end due to its size but if you want a nice meal in good surroundings then this is the place to go. Mo who greeted us and served us was excellent and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will be back soon.
