Went into Office on 1st October around 11.30/11.45, and just found the team to be really rude and uninterested. I caught them rolling their eyes at me. Which made me feel uncomfortable. I’ve had excellent service at office in Trinity, White Rose, Meadowhall and the Trafford Centre.
I took some shoes back today but they refused to give me a refund as they were in the sale!! I did not know this but it was stamped on my receipt that I had not even looked at and was still in the box, the manager some young jobs worth said if it was stamped on my receipt I would have been told, more or less calling me a liar when I told her I had definately not been made aware of this!!! She also said it was my responsibility to check when I bought them if I was entitled to a refund, absolutely disgusting, will never shop there again!!!
Went into Office Huddersfield around 11am today planning to buy New Balances. The shop was dead, but both staff were glued to their conversation like I didn’t exist. Not a single “hello,” no offer of help — just two bored workers talking rubbish. After being ignored for a few minutes, I walked out and gave my money to Schuh in Manchester. If this is the best effort you can manage, it’s no wonder Huddersfield’s high street is dying. Keep standing around doing nothing — soon enough, there won’t even be a shop left for you to waste time in.
We went into the Office store in Kingsgate this week. I wanted to look at Hugg boots, and as we went in, there were 2 young sales assistants stood talking across from each other. Not one of them asked if we needed any help. They just carried on talking. Very rude. We will not go there again, and they lost a good sale.
Staff are rude and would rather spend time talking at the till that serving customers. Really disappointed in my visit. Unfortunately due to time restraints on purchasing shoes for this evening I had to no choice than to buy, sadly the pair of shoes when I got home were stained on the tongue. Me and partner both felt the staff could have been much more customer friendly, seemed uninterested and disconnected with work. More interested in standing around chatting to each other, the sighs of having to go check if the shoe size was in stock gave it all away. unprofessional. And we will NOT be returning.

Bought some shoes went to return for refund only refunded the sale price not full amount which I paid so short of £15 told I had to ring customer services and staff not helpful at all avoid !
