My 17 year old Loakes had a commando resole aged 9. Polished and loved these are super comfortable. But I needed another pair and Cheaney’s Avon C with commando soles are perfect. Comfortable from day 1. And a fair price - these are top quality English products English jobs. Looked after they’ll last 18 years. So “cost per wear” cheaper than Clarkes/other rubbish made in Vietnam/China/Turkey single use un-repairable. Great shop & staff thank you.
