   The staff are working so hard here at the moment while the Turner Prize exhibition is on. Nevertheless they were all friendly and helpful and kept the cafe clean and tidy. The food choices are enough and the quality good. We had soup and samosas and drinks. The prices are reasonable.

   It was very busy after viewing the Turner Prize entries today and we decided to go for a walk but the kind assistant in the cafe found us a table just as we were leaving. The staff work so hard in the cafe and the drinks and food are very good at a reasonable price too. Well done.

   On Sunday 9th November the soup was cold and for £6.50 the portion was very small. The coffee could have been stronger. Our table had a wobbly leg. On a positive note the tea was excellent and the cakes delicious.

   What a find! At the side of magnificent Cartwright Hall, the cafe is bright and welcoming, dog friendly too. Very nice coffee and cake and such friendly staff! They do all sorts of food and refreshments. Highly recommended.

   If wandering around Manningham Park the RefreshmentsRoom café is a great resource to pop into. The staff are very welcoming and ready to serve anyone who pops in. There is a selection of cakes, sandwiches and a few other items to fill that gap as well as a selection of drinks, hot or cold. We have found it a valuable asset when walking our dog throughout the winter months (well, it has been rather wet) as dogs are made welcome. A great cup of coffee and a bite to eat cheers up a dog walker wonderfully.

   Spent a very pleasant hour here yesterday. So much to choose from, filled panini or baguette (large & tasty!) snacks, baked potatoes, full meals, huge slices of gorgeous cakes, proper tea & coffee..... All swiftly served by very pleasant, smiling folks. Child friendly, dog friendly, a lovely, unhurried experience. Thank you, see you soon!

   I ordered the quiche which was presented warm, as I like it. My sister came 10 mins later and ordered the same meal. Her quiche was cold, so she kindly asked for it to be warmed. She was told it would take 20 mins, which was unusual as mine was ready in a few mins. After heating the quiche (which didn’t take 20 mins in the end), my sister was presented her food alongside an unnecessary snarky comment. Poor service and small portion sizes.
