I'll start with the atmosphere. It's a normal cafe, all kinds of people use it. The food, or at least the large breakfast I had, was poor. Everything was seriously over cooked. The bacon was rock hard, sausage was looking a little dehydrated and the ash brown had done long spell in the deep fat fryer by the look of it. Though the cafe wasn't busy when we ordered, it still took about 20+ minuets to be served. That's just the wrong side of acceptable for me when eating in. The cafe looked nice and clean with plenty of seating. I probably won't eat there in future, there are definitely better cafes in the area.

A exceptional little cafe with a warm welcome and Friday atmosphere, the staff are helpful and willing, we was served by a young girl called paige who was very pleasant and had a natural smile. The food was outstanding and freshly cooked to order, its clear to see they take pride in the ingredients used as the sausageβs was not normal low grade ones found in most cafes, portions are very big much then you get down south Highly recommended

Visited recently for lunch with a friend. Excellent choice on the menu. Breakfasts are all cooked fresh to order with fresh farm shop sausages. The meat and potato pie is made with a beautiful home made pastry. Nice selection of cakes and treats, the cheesecake was something else and all very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

We went for a lovely lunch at Grayβs muffin cafe yesterday afternoon. I had the lasagna with chips! The lasagna was beautifully home made and tasted delicious and fresh. The homemade chips were lovely too you could tell they were cooked in oil from the crunch but could not taste the oil what so ever. My partner had a ham and mushroom omelette which she could not stop complementing. The ham was proper ham. The dessert collection was too hard to pick from but we shared a lovely slice of Victoria sponge cake. All items were very reasonably priced too. Would recommend anyone wanting a speedy but fresh home cooked meals this cafe as we had a lovely time. Staff also made it feel very homely and like every customer was family.

The best little butty shop. Iβve had the cajun chicken, tuna Mayo and a weekend means sausage & tomato sandwiches. Iβve never been disappointed the food has been good, hot and just the right cure. The staff are friendly, Iβve lived round the corner from muffins since I was a little girl so itβs safe to say Iβve been a muffins goer even before the reopening to Grays and I believe that itβs as good as itβs always been if not better. Iβm so glad that itβs up and running, itβs always clean, the food is good and you donβt get ripped off.
