   I went in this place a few years ago and it was a reasonably good breakfast. Today I visited it again. The first word I can honestly say. Awful. The Breakfast was served on a cold plate and went cold very quickly. The bacon was some kind of reformed meat and not bacon at all. The taste and texture was horrible. The tinned tomatoe was spiced and not pleasant. The sausage was OK. Toast was OK. It went cold that quickly I left most of it. I lost my appetite very quickly. There was a small sign on the rear wall saying Halal. Shame I can't write anything better..

   Some call it a bacon and spam sandwich I call it a load of rubbish this place used to be semi decent now it’s all halal rubbish no wonder it was so empty

   I don’t know if Jackson’s has recently changed ownership but I’ve just had the worst sandwich ever. Bacon , Spam and Mushroom, which in the past has been lovely. However, this time, the bacon wasn’t bacon but probably something like reconstituted turkey. The spam clearly wasn’t spam, that was incredibly mushy and spongy, and the mushrooms were straight out of a tin. The only thing worth eating was the bread but the whole thing went in the bin! It will be a long time before my next visit!

   Clean n tidy. Lovely staff n funny sayings on walls. Good old fashioned cafe grub. Just wish they did red milk n veggie sausages.

   Really poor breakfast food, sausages are deep fried, and spam is not real spam, it's Pek!! Because spam is square cut, but his "spam" is round cut, which is how Pek comes in tins!! Disgusting!! The snack shack up the road, on side of fleece pub is your best bet, it's really gorgeous food, and the owner Simon is a great guy.

   I've been here a few times but never again. My wife took our 3 year old daughter in to ask to use the toilet, on the way to nursery. Despite the cafe being empty the woman said no and that it was for customers only. My wife pleaded that she wouldn't usually l, but our 3 year old was bursting for a wee. Still she said no. My daughter wet herself pretty much as soon as they left and had to be consoled all the way to nursery as she was cold and upset at having an accident. What lovely people running this place. They won't see a penny from me or anyone I know again.
