Fantastic experience. Kind and proactive service, nice food with a very reasonable price, just next to st margret bus station, make sure to make a visit if you have some time to burn before a bus.
Delicious traditional Albanian food with real homemade taste. The burek and meat dishes were amazing also halal, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Also had some of the best coffee I’ve tried in the UK smooth, strong, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!
Brilliant service and food, had a beef stew with cabbage and they provided lemon and chilli on the side. Even stew by itself was delicious. Had a cheese dip dish that was really good and plenty of nice freshly baked bread to mop it up. Floral Turkish coffee was smooth and baklava was really delicious. Highly recommend for a healthy lunch
Have eaten here twice now, excellent both times. A spotlessly clean and calm atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. There is no menu, the staff tell you what has been cooked that day. There are several choices such as white bean soup, beef goulash soup, stuffed aubergine with meat and stuffed peppers (shown in the photo). Albanian/Turkish home cooking. All served with home made bread. Lovely drinks and cakes too. What a refreshing change from the microwaved offerings found in most similar establishments. Looking forward to having lunch here again soon.
First time tried Turkish coffee and caramel milk cake made in-house, and the whole experience was just fabulous. Will absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to travel to Leicester!
Very enjoyable meal, friendly & helpful staff.
Terrible. Arrived at 8 am at the bus station (which does not have benches or a station, since under construction). Had to wait an hour for next coach, so looked to enjoy a cup of tea and somewhere warm to sit. Cafe listed open but not open! Walked there and back with mobility issues and heavy suitcase.
Wanted to visit for breakfast at 8. But it was closed…. :(
