   We thought we would try The George for a change as we have been going to the Golden Fleece on the occasions we can get out. We ended up staying the evening and having a great time. There was a good atmosphere, and the bar staff were very friendly. I can't remember names other than I think Megan. Very handy knowing it is dog friendly too. Will definitely return.

   Best pub I’ve been to in a long time, always a busy friendly atmosphere even through the week. Staff are brilliant and you have your drinks in no time, the food here is also delicious. The drinks selection is absolutely huge from real ales to spirit drinks all at reasonable prices! The whole pub has been newly refurbished and it has a really nice feel to it. Plenty on here from poker nights, comedians as well as singers. The landlords at this pub are brilliant need more pubs round like this!

   This is a nice pub. Serves nice food and drinks. It's small inside but cosy. There are two areas to sit, one just inside the entrance with a snooker table and one room further in through the doors facing where there is a small area for live bands. There is a seating area around the front side of the pub. There is minimal parking next to the pub, but you are able to park on the roadside. I found this pub very nice and the people are friendly. Well recommended.
